About: Lifelong animal lover! I have always loved owning and caring for a variety of pets - of all ages and sizes: dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, lizards. I can visit, play with, walk or sit pets in your house or mine, overnights are an option. I currently have a full time M-F day job but am available most evenings and am fairly flexible on weekends. Overnights throughout the week will be depending on expectations of care and time for your fur baby with weekends being more open. In your home, I will follow your pets routine as you lay out for me. In my home, I currently only have a gecko lizard at the moment so have an option for visiting furry friends as well.
“Renita and her husband were so wonderful to my pup, Wrigley. I loved having updates with pictures and videos throughout the day, as he hasn’t been without us much and we were worried how he would be. It was reassuring to see how comfortable he was and they made him feel right at home. I also love that they only take on one dog at a time, so I know he’s getting their full attention. I would absolutly book with them again!”

About: I own a small doggy daycare and occasional boarding business. Along with caring for people’s canine companions over the last 14 years, I have trained and trailed multiple dogs in many conformation, sporting and obedience events. We live on a hobby farm with a mixed animals who I also enjoy caring for. I use postive reinforcement methods with all of our animals and believe that a relationship built on trust is the best training tool! I am an animal lover and my passion is Dogs 💕 I look forward to meeting you and your canine family member(s)! I am a part time stay at home mom and a part time doggy daycare operator! My life revolves around caring for kids and animals (shhh don’t tell my kids but I enjoy the animal part best!). Pet care is my life! My schedule is flexible other than Tuesday and Thursday when I have a yard full of dogs! We have 100 acres of wooded trails that I take the dogs for walks (leashed or offleash) on and a fully fenced backyard for potty breaks and playtime when the weather is fine! Weekends are more busy with my children than during the week. Some dates may be unavailable if we are away, if I confirm that I am available to care for your dog it means I will be home (or close to home) while your dog is in my care. Other than Tuesdays and Thursdays my daily routine varies, we can have a conversation about how my days will look when your dog is in my care. Safety is my main priority when dogs are in my care. I have recently re-certified my canine first aid training in April 2026. After 14 years of dog care and caring for my own animals, I try to manage the animals in my care in the safest way possible (without putting them in bubble wrap)! I believe that it is importang for our canine friends to have freedom and fun but I have processes and rules in place to try and keep everyone safe AND happy! My fenced yard has two double gated entires, dogs are always on a leash unless they have spent a significant time with me and are showing me that they have a reliable recall. When dogs are unattended in my home or the daycare building they are always crated (separated) and crated at night. Dogs who show any human or dog aggression will not be permitted to stay with me.
“Deanna is awesome! She had my Abby while I went on a trip to ontario. she was flexible , communicable and easy to work with . I continue to ask Deanna for services for Abby. She's awesome!”

“5 stars aren’t enough!! Emily and her family took such great care of brooks. I felt completely at ease and was worried he wouldn’t want to come home with us at pickup! Haha. Looking forward to his next stay over Christmas.”

“Kara was amazing! I was concerned about leaving Maggie with someone she didn’t know, but Kara’s relaxed demeanour was great with both Maggie and me! I will gladly leave Maggie with with Kara again.”

“Rebecca took great care of Nash during his stay and was very flexible and accommodating for some of his extra needs following dental surgery. It is clear that Nash got lots of exercise and was well loved during his stay. We would highly recommend Rebecca and her family :)”

“Megan is the best! Our big dog George has an amazing time there with their dog, Sunny. We’ve had multiple stays now and it’s always a good experience, we get lots of photos and we feel like they love George like their own!”

“Thank you so much! Charli had a great week with you. The photo and video updates were very much appreciated from this apprehensive ‘dog mom’. Meeting you at the ‘meet and greet’ was super helpful and very reassuring. Thanks Alisa.”

About: We have a 13 lbs Shih Tzu who gets along great with most dogs. He is well loved and we would treat your dog the same. I work 8-3 but am off during the summer/ weekdays and holidays. Your dog would have lots of outdoor time and would be well cared for. My dog isn’t crated most days but is able to be. I would prefer to crate both dogs until the 2 became use to each other.
“My dog can be nervous and anxious with new people, but she had the best weekend with Roselyne and her dog! Not only is their home perfect for the dogs to play, but she provided Nova with extraordinary care. She sent frequent updates, which I appreciated so much while I was away. She was always on top of communication and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Nova in her care. I would definitely recommend Roselyne and I will be bringing Nova back to her my next weekend away! :)”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my household since I was a baby. I have experience with dog sitting and walking dogs, for family and friend aswell. I also have a yellow lab who’s almost 2. I’m a full time shift worker, I have plenty of time on day 4 days off. I have time for walks as well as 3 night for inhome boarding. I love to be outside as much as possible for my days off. Very flexible with following your dogs needs. I work with your dog to provide the most comfort for them. Following basic commands on walks, getting familiar with how comfortable they are with new surroundings. I want your dog to feel welcomed in my space, and to feel safe when going on a walk.
About: What sets me apart is the calm, structured, home environment I provide. I only take 2–3 small to medium dogs at a time, so your dog gets real attention—not a crowded, chaotic setting. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and bathroom breaks, plus I’m home often so dogs aren’t left alone for long periods. I focus on keeping dogs relaxed, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I’m experienced with: dogs who need a quieter space Crate training (I have a large crate available if preferred) Multi-dog supervision with safe introductions and monitoring Basic routine consistency (feeding, walks, rest times) Inside, dogs have cozy spots to relax, and I keep things clean and organized. I also send regular photo updates, so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is simple: your dog feels like they’re staying in a safe, loving home—not a kennel. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I own a local business that is fully staffed, which allows me to be home most of the day. I’m not tied to a 9–5 schedule, so I’m able to give dogs consistent attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My routine includes regular outdoor time in my fully fenced yard, walks, feeding on your dog’s schedule, and plenty of relaxed indoor time. Because I’m home so often, dogs are rarely left alone and can settle into a calm, low-stress environment. I’ve built my schedule specifically to support pet care, so your dog isn’t just being “fit in”—they’re part of my daily routine and receive consistent, attentive care from morning to evening. I provide personalized, in-home care designed to give each dog a calm, safe, and comfortable experience—very different from a high-volume or kennel-style setting. I intentionally limit bookings to just 2–3 small to medium dogs at a time, so every dog receives focused attention and consistent supervision. Care in my home is structured around your dog’s routine, including daily walks, regular time in my fully fenced backyard, and relaxed indoor living in a clean, cozy space. Dogs are treated like part of the household, with access to comfortable lounging areas and a low-stress environment where they can settle in naturally. I take a thoughtful, hands-on approach to introductions and group dynamics, ensuring dogs are compatible and comfortable. I closely monitor behavior and can provide separation or crating if preferred, always prioritizing safety and your dog’s individual needs. Because I’m home most of the day, dogs are rarely left alone and receive consistent care, attention, and supervision from morning through evening. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is to offer a premium, home-based experience where your dog feels secure, relaxed, and genuinely cared for—not just looked after.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
