About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 15. I walked and watched my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs when they went on vacation or during the day for potty breaks. I love dogs and have always had a dog of my own. I will treat your dog as if they were mine. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dog every 3 hours with a long walk in the morning and evening. I walk my dog very frequently, with a long walk in the morning and evening adding up to 5 miles a day. I can also take your dog to the dog park if you and your dog are comfortable with the dog park. I can crate and give medicine if necessary.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.
About: As someone who has several furry family members, I understand how important it is to leave your pet in the care of someone you can trust. I love being able to fill that role as needed, whether it's while you're away at work or while you're away traveling. My pets love a predictable routine, so I recognize how important that can be for many pets. I find it really meaningful to help with maintaining your pets' routines as much as possible while you're away and unable to do so. I'm lucky enough to be completely remote with work and have a couple free hours throughout the day most days. I want to use those free hours in a productive/active way if possible, which is why I thought offering pet care might be a great way to make use of that time. I'll strive to do my best to meet your pets' feeding/play/walking needs whenever possible. I totally get the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets in the care of someone new. I also know it takes time to build trust and safety between pets and people that are new to them; I'll do my best to initially provide some extra time/availability to build this relationship with your pet/pets.

Muffins has made friends for life in Austin and his family! Muffins is normally very anxious when it comes to visiting new places and meeting new people, but it was immediately clear after his first day that he really enjoyed himself! Every morning for drop off, Muffins was always very excited to see Austin. And at pickup, Muffins was content from his day of play! Austin is also great at providing updates and pictures of our boy during his stay which put our own separation anxiety at ease! There is no question we will use Austin again when it comes to Muffins' care!

Marisol and her boyfriend treated our boy so well he was pouting all the whole trip home. They treated him like he was part of their family and we truly appreciate it because this was our first time using a pet sitter and our boys first time being away from us since we got him. Plenty of walks, rubs and even took him to the dog beach. Marisol was always in communication with us and updated us frequently. She always asked permission to give him things or take him out if she thought it was something we should be informed about. Plenty of pictures and videos. Would give 10 stars if I could - Melina was an amazing dog sitter for my senior pup who required a lot of TLC with a torn ACL. I had quite a set of instructions for Melina to follow and she was so patient and detail oriented around the care she provided Penny. She also gave me a ton of updates throughout so I knew Penny was in good hands. Would highly recommend Melina to all the pup parents out there!
