“Vega can’t wait to stay with Kathy and Grahame again! She got lots of outside time and play time and even went on her first run. I know I have nothing to worry about when Vega stays with Kathy.”

“Readily available for drop off and pick up. We revived daily photographs which we really liked. Their location to us was very accommodating to us. Very friendly to us and our babies. When the time arises we will definitely look in to using them. Thanks guys!!!”

“Great experience! We needed someone to watch our Shih-poo for the weekend last minute and are also new in town. We felt comfortable very quickly leaving Rocco with such a nice family. We received many updates and could see our dog was happy and felt at home. Swetha goes the extra mile. We will book again!”

“Michael and Regina were wonderful and cared for our two dogs as if they were their own. They kept in touch with us daily and sent pictures of my pups multiple times a day, thus reassuring us that they were in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you, Mike and Regina!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was a little girl, they’re an important part of my life. Every dog that visits will receive a bath if requested! Very good with senior pups! I have a very flexible work, as well as my husbands schedule so always there to do potty breaks and just give some love and attention! I have one dog right now, he’s a 6 year old lab. He’s pretty chill, likes to play & would love to have a buddy to play with!
“Our dog, Mollie, is 19 years old with no eyes and is hard of hearing. She is lovable and gentle, but as a senior, she has occasional accidents, is a picky eater and has some mental confusion. Angel was wonderful with her. She took everything in stride. Angel kept us posted regularly with photos, descriptions and texts. She gave Mollie extra care and attention and addressed her health issues as needed above our expectations. We were very pleased with the care that Mollie received and highly recommend Angel E.”

“Oakley is a new rescue and I wasn’t familiar yet with his needs and limitations. Rachael was very knowledgeable and professional and knew exactly how to handle him by slowly introducing him to other dogs. She has a large backyard with different sections to accommodate Oakley when he’s not feeling too social. I highly recommend Rachael!”

“Keeley is amazing with my large Bernedoodle, Nori. She has stayed at her home multiple times for extended periods while my family is out of town. Nori gets plenty of exercise in the big yard and is happy as can be to come back again and again. 😊”

“Aspen was great! She sent so many pictures and updates and even took Koda on a trip to an orchard. This was a great experience and Koda had a great weekend.”

“Coco had a great time with Victoria and she sent pictures every day during our time away which assuaged our fears. Coco was a very happy dog when I picked her up but I think she was a little sad that she would not be getting spoiled by all day care.”

“Sarah did an amazing job taking care of my pug Ladybug. She provided regular updates with pictures and even sent a video of Ladybug doing a trick which was such a great touch. Super flexible and easy to work with and I would definitely book with her again.”

“Katlyn did a wonderful job watching my dog. She was quick to respond to messages, sent lots of picture updates and it was evident she truly cares about animals. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Patchareya was an excellent sitter for my pup. She communicates regularly and provides a lot of care and affection for small dogs. If you have a small dog I would highly recommend her for your future boarding needs. I know I will!”

Tina & Rick are my go too sitters; they are kind, compassionate and understanding towards my Husky (and her behavioral changes as a senior dog). They are always flexible, which is good because I’m a huge procrastinator!!! But definitely book well in advance don’t be like me. 😂

Angela was superfantastic!!! She took care of my dog Nacho as if he were her own. I really appreciated the photo/ video updates. I could see my dog felt comfortable and safe and i felt at ease seeing him happy and playing with her 2 dogs. She has a nice backyard for Nacho to play and run around. I rate her 10 out of 5!!!!! Thank u Angela 🤗😊 Nacho and I appreciate you

Heather and her son were fabulous! They made sure my dog was comfortable in a new place and he quickly made friends with their dog! I enjoyed receiving videos and pictures. Every video had Louie wagging his tail or snuggling on the couch. It put my mind at ease that he was being well taken care of and enjoying his time.

Omg there is not enough room to express my gratitude & joy I've found through Stephanie mj doggies first overnight stay in 2 yrs I literally had to carry a 114pld pup in her house the first day of my trip I think I bugged her until she wanted to sream but no it was the opposite she start sending photos, she acutely laid her own blankets across the floor because she said he wouldn't walk on hardwood now how gentle was that.. his anxiety was on high she hand fed him and was patient as if he were the only pet that wkend if you don't book with Stephanie then im afraid that you're furry pup won't get the royal treat my dog is HUGE cane corso 114 he was a lap dog to her she was awesome I travel twice a yr this is were my dog will be she has a yard as big as a football field so he definitely got to exercise the children gave him ear rugs overall great experience

I never have to worry about my dog when she is with Kimberly. She’s great about sending pictures and videos so that I can see how my dog is doing. My dog has never looked stressed in any of the pictures at Kimberly’s, and that is unusual for my tender hearted dog! I will continue using Kimberly as long as she’s available!!

I had Roza watch my dog while I was out of town for a 5 days. She was consistently sending photos reassuring that my pup was doing good. Her family is the sweetest and took care of my 4 legged child so well. I will definitely hire her again, will recommend her to others and cannot thank her enough.
Cara was truly amazing. This was the first time I had ever had my kitty away from home and I was truly happy with how it went. She has never been around dogs before and I was truly happy that she did well with the ones that were there! I am truly happy with this whole experience😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
