“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

About: I am dependable and friendly. I get a lot of joy out of caring for others. I typically care for little humans but I love taking care of little furry family members as well. I work 5 shifts in a row (Sat-Wed) every 2 week and I am off the 9 days in between. I am available all day for walks and check ins. I am respectful and gentle. Safety is a top priority and fun is a close second. I would love to provide comfort and ease to your day by caring for your pet while you are away.

“Midory was an excellent dog walker for my dog Bean. She responded to all requests. She always took several pictures of him to send to me during his walks. Highly recommend!”

“Celina was amazing! I got sick suddenly and needed someone to walk my dog on a short notice. She promptly came and took out my doggy for a walk. Highly recommend her!”

About: My Pet Care Experience I’ve had a lifelong love for animals, caring for many cats and dogs over the decades, starting as a young child. Whether it's in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I offer both in-home pet care and visits—stopping by to walk your pet, give them a needed relief break, or simply provide companionship while you're away. With experience in fostering through the Humane Society, I understand each pet’s unique needs and provide the love and attention they deserve. What Sets Me Apart I treat your pet like family—because to me, they are. With a calm, pet-friendly home and years of hands-on experience, I provide the same level of love, patience, and attention I give my own animals. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. As someone who works from home and loves taking walking breaks, I enjoy being outdoors and would be thrilled to bring your pet along with me for a walk. If your pet prefers to stay at home, I’m happy to stop by to give them a break, provide attention, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. With years of experience caring for pets, I understand the importance of personalized care and giving your furry friend the love and attention they deserve. My one-story, fenced yard is perfect for keeping an eye on pets while they enjoy some fresh air. I live near beautiful walking paths, providing plenty of new territory for exploration and positive mental stimulation. Plus, there are several local shops that welcome animals, where your pet can get a treat and enjoy positive social interactions. Whether it's a walk, playtime, or just a break in the yard, your pet will feel loved and cared for.

About: Hi, I’m Kynssie! I’m a dog nanny based in Portland! I bring years of hands-on experience in dog sitting, walking and training with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My pup Arlo, a super social 2-year-old Pyrenees mix, often joins me for sits and absolutely loves making new friends! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have been professionally dog sitting for over 5 years now, plus working in dog daycares for years where I gained experience with puppies, seniors, special needs pups, and reactive dogs. I also lead group walks and play groups during the summer—which are just as fun for me as they are for the dogs! Reactive dogs are always welcome on walks and overnights. I understand the challenges they bring and I’m confident caring for pups who need a little extra patience and one-on-one attention. If you think Arlo and I might be a good match for your pup, send us a message—we’d love to meet you! I currently work as a barista, only being away from home for about 4-5 hours at a time. I try to reserve mornings and evenings for the pups but my schedule does vary so afternoons are sometimes open as well. At my home, we are in an apartment but we have walking trails all around plus a few fenced in fields nearby that I take my pup to often. We avoid dog parks as they are unpredictable but when the weather permits it, I will get the dogs up and out in the fenced in areas!

About: Hello! I'm just a natural born animal lover and have been surrounded by them all my life. I have over 15years experience working with animals in veterinary care and have a B.S in Animal Health Sciences. I have had experience with just about every breed and temperament of dog there is. While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both. While I've always had pets, I stepped away from working with animals to work in health care some years ago. I really miss the interaction with animals and caring for them. It is my one true passion. I feel I have an instinct into how an animal is feeling and am able to meet that need. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I'm currently working part-time in health care so have plenty of time open to care for your pet. I mostly have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. While in your home I will take all measures to ensure that your pet is safe and secure. We will leave no doors open and will always have a dog on a leash before walking out the door.

About: I grew up bringing cats home, and have always been concerned with the humane treatment of animals. I am a conscientious animal lover who knows that dogs need to explore and sniff outside to calm themselves and to feed their interests. Most cats like to get repeatedly "combed" with damp hands to remove dust and loose fur. I listen to a dog to find what pace and range they are comfortable with, and let them go with their curiosity. Once a pet knows me, they are often overwhelmed with excitement to go out for their personal adventure; then I know that my work is for good - they are having fun and experiencing nature. The goal is to make your pet's life more fulfilled, calm and happy. Cheryl I work part-time, four hour shifts. When I stay with a pet I adjust my work schedule so that I work few shifts and enjoy my time with the pet. I strive to be away no longer than 5.5 hours at a time. I no longer bring new pets into my home because I had one elder dog staying who was incontinent and it was a problem with wall to wall carpeting...

About: I have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. Our family dog passed a year ago and caring for my son’s dog has made me realize how much I love having dogs around. I am retired, so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pups. I am available for boarding seven days a week. I have a fenced yard with ample room for play. Your furry friend will love the fresh air. The yard is a partially shaded space with grass.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals in many different settings. From dog walking to house sitting multiple pets for up to a week, I’ve had a ton of experience! I am currently part time and am looking to fill some empty days in my summer home from college by hanging out with some pets! I have had experience taking care of pets with and without a fenced yard, walking pets of all kinds of sizes/temperaments and am comfortable working with any housing setting you may have.

About: I have two cats, and have had dogs before. Previously I’ve worked and volunteered at various animal shelters and clinics. I have had experience with all different species and breeds. I am working part time right now so I’m not available between 4-8 on weekdays or in the mornings on Saturday (I’m free all day Sundays). I can take pups on long or short walks/hikes. If I’m housesitting just let me know what your house rules and schedule looks like so I can best take care of them.

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs since I was old enough to hold the kibble scoop! I am comfortable handling everything from grumpy cats to picky eaters to escape artist dogs calmly and patiently. I work part time and I'm looking to get to spend some of my free time this summer taking care of you pets! My availability varies, but I'm always available Sundays. I will happily care for your animals in your home, keeping your pet comfortable in a familiar and safe environment for them. I understand the need to make sure your pets are in safe hands.

About: Ive grown up around dogs, cats, horses and goats and have a deep connection with these animals. I love going on adventures with my pets and hope that I can offer that adventure for your pets too! I have had previous experience with giving medication and medical attention. I value safety for these animals as well as fun so this balance between the two are very important to me. I am a college student and have an odd schedule so finding a flexible job is great! Communication is important to me so reach out if you have any questions! Safety and trust are extremely important and so I try to establish a relationship before going to any new or unfamiliar places. By meeting in a comfortable place for the dog first we can get to know each other before the adventure begins.

“Dana did an amazing job walking my shy and reactive dog. Very patient with him and provided me thorough updates. I recommend!”

Kynssie M.
“We met Kynssie when she worked at a local doggy day care where we took our pup, Lily. She was always friendly and showed a sincere interest in the dogs she interacted with, so of course we were ecstatic when we heard she did in home dog-sitting as well. She stayed with Lily for over a week while we were on vacation and we did not worry a bit. She came over beforehand to learn about Lily's daily routine and to familiarize herself with any of Lily's quirks, behaviors, likes and dislikes. She asked important questions and gave thorough answers to any of ours. She sent us a few notes and pictures of Lily while we were gone, and she even had a little birthday surprise for Lily's birthday! We came home to a clean home, a bouquet of flowers, and a recap of the week and a thank you note. Best of all, Lily was happy, healthy and relaxed. Kynssie went above and beyond and we would not hesitate to hire her or recommend her services. She's the best!!”

Terri V.
“I would highly recommend Terri to take care of your pets. Our dog can be quite apprehensive with new people but he took right to her. She updated us each visit with what they did and cute pics. I felt totally comfortable leaving my pets in her care and would use her again.”

Cheryl S.
“Cheryl has taken incredible care of our beloved fur baby, Petey, for a few years now, and we’ve never had a better sitter for her. We travel a lot, and have used boarding facilities and others to provide in-home care before, but Cheryl’s love of animals and her dedication to their well-being has now spoiled us forever. She really connects with pets and our 13-year-old Petey is always healthy, happy, and well-adjusted when we come home. Cheryl is able to get her to eat and relax when when we’re gone, and it’s really evident when we return... that’s priceless to us. We’ll never use anyone else so obviously, I highly recommend Cheryl’s services!”

Patricia K.Star Sitter
“I can’t say enough good things about Trish as our dog walker! From the very first time she met our dog, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals. Trish’s nurturing nature and kindness shine through in every interaction. She always takes the time to connect with our pup and ensures they feel comfortable and happy during their walks. Not only is she incredibly caring, but she’s also highly professional, always showing up on time and providing updates with photos and notes after each walk. I can tell that our dog looks forward to their time with Trish, and it brings me peace of mind knowing they’re in such great hands. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a dependable, kind, and thoughtful dog walker!”

Nina F.
“Nina has been a trusted pet and childcare provider to our family for the last six years. First taking care of our young daughter and then house sitting, tending to my garden during the summer months while watching our three cats and dog. The animals needed special attention as not to come into contact with the resident coyotes (specifically the dog while she wandered the within her invisible fenced in area), of our woodland property and daily medications. Also our indoor cats would try to escape and she would pay special attention not to leave doors or windows allowing this access, something someone who is often not familiar with one's particular household might do! She was also quite detailed with my dog's daily medication and all four pets eating schedules and watering machine. I highly recommend her.”

Ricki R.Star Sitter

“Ricki and Tori are amazing! Would highly recommend! Very professional and kind!”

Emily M.
“Emily is an animal whisper! She is responsible and has a huge heart for animals and they know it! She has raised a dozen or so foster kittens.”
