About: Hi, I’m Kynssie! I’m a dog nanny based in Portland! I bring years of hands-on experience in dog sitting, walking and training with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My pup Arlo, a super social 2-year-old Pyrenees mix, often joins me for sits and absolutely loves making new friends! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have been professionally dog sitting for over 5 years now, plus working in dog daycares for years where I gained experience with puppies, seniors, special needs pups, and reactive dogs. I also lead group walks and play groups during the summer—which are just as fun for me as they are for the dogs! Reactive dogs are always welcome on walks and overnights. About: Hello! I'm just a natural born animal lover and have been surrounded by them all my life. I have over 15years experience working with animals in veterinary care and have a B.S in Animal Health Sciences. I have had experience with just about every breed and temperament of dog there is. While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both.
