“Amy was great :) she truly is a dog lover. She kept me posted on a daily basis with pictures of my fur babies via text mssg. My fur babies were happy with their stay and I felt very comfortable trusting her with them.”

“Jeannine and family did an amazing job caring for Keeper. We live in Maine and have family in the Cranberry Twp. area that we were visiting. Jeannine was flexible with arrival and departure times. Jeannine was very quick to answer questions and it was great to feel comfortable leaving Keeper. We will use Jeannine anytime we are visiting in the area in the future as it was great to bring Keeper along instead of leaving him in a kennel here in Maine.”

“I am totally comfortable leaving our dog (2 y/o Whippet) with Anthony as his caregiver. Anthony is conscientious about sending pics and updates, and I know Finn is getting exercise and attention when he is with Anthony. Our dog is happy and tired when he returns to us, and I know he is well cared for! We are delighted to have found Anthony (and his wife, Leslie) on our first Rover experience = they are the real-deal. I am happy to recommend!”

“E'Ronda took great care of our 5 month old puppy! He came back super happy and had a bath, trimmed nails and a lot of confidence. E'Ronda was very flexible with my incorrect/changed drop off and pick up times and was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were very happy with everything!”

“Willa had a wonderful time staying with Megan, her family, and their dog. She always takes a little while to settle in and Megan and her family were patient and kind, letting her approach at her own pace. By the end of her stay, she was romping around, playing, and totally comfortable. Megan communicated clearly and sent us photos to help us miss Willa a little less. We’re very glad to have found Megan’s family to sit for Willa!!”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.
“Valerie was great with Ruby! Ruby had a great time in her backyard and on walks. I appreciated the clear communication and updates. Will definitely reach out to her again.”

“Jennifer and Devin were AWESOME! My dog was very well cared for, and it was the first vacation in a long time I was not worried about how she was doing. Their Batman was a great host as well:)”

About: Hello my name is Gracie I have been working with dogs for 3 years. I have had my havanese dog for 6 years. I have been working at doggy daycares for 3 years and still working at one. I love being around dogs and making sure that they are safe and taking care of. I work part time I would love to have a weeks notice on when you need me so I can prepare my schedule to help with your pet I want to make sure that the pets are taken care of, to make you feel comfortable I would send pictures and videos to ensure you that your pet is doing well
“Our old dog crossed the rainbow bridge, not only did Heidi and Jason help us through the pain but also our other dog. It was nice to know that they helped our little guy through a pretty difficult time for him.”
“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Cali was amazing with our dog Ollie while we were away! She walked him multiple times a day to help get his energy out. She even included some photos daily! Ollie was very happy to stay with Cali and made himself comfortable right away.”

“Our dog genuinely enjoyed herself for the week she spent with the family. She immediately wanted to play with their dog Pepper at the first meeting, so the initial reaction was great at easing any possible concerns. Colette was great with the pictures and feedback, and everything seemed to go well - actually began to be worried that our dog wouldn't want to come home with us since she was having such a great time and getting loads of attention. Would definitely recommend this family and choose them again.”
“This was our first time with Mike and I could tell at pickup that Parker was already attached to Mike! We actually wanted to leave a horrible review of him so no one else will use Mike…. And we would have him all to ourselves! But we just couldn’t do that to such a nice guy. ?”

About: Having grown up with animals, I've developed a deep love and understanding for both cats and dogs. I have experience with all sorts of animals but especially love caring for cats and dogs! I have two cats from the shelter, and a senior dog who requires a little extra TLC. I'm experienced in giving medicine, senior care, walking dogs, and everything else! I'm committed to making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I commute between Wexford and my college classes at Carlow University. I'm seeking a flexible job that allows me to balance my studies with my passion for working with animals. I am available on weekends for dogs. I am also available all week for “drop in” cat sitting. I always put the safety and happiness of pets first when I'm in a client's home and my own home. Since I have a flexible schedule, I can always be on time and give them the attention they need. Plus, I have my own car, so getting there is never an issue.
“Nikki took great care of my dog, Ginger. She wakes her every day and stuck to our routine. Nikki also sent lots of pictures and videos every day which I loved! She also involved her daughter who was a great sitter too! Ginger got lots of love and attention in a safe environment.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bradfordwoods
Cooper might have found a new home with Melissa and family, especially with Terri! These folks treated our dog as one of their own and we will have zero hesitation allowing Cooper to vacation with them again. Thanks for providing our dog with a great option next time we can't bring him along with us.

Rae did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Freya! This was Freya's first experience being cared for by someone other than an extended family member, and we were unsure how she would handle the experience. However, we received a picture and update for every night that Freya was with Rae, which eased our minds and showed us that Freya was enjoying her "weekend away" as much as we were! We will definitely book with Rae again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
