I am a patient and caring dog owner who has been surrounded by pets my whole life. They are a complete part of our family! I currently work from home with my 1 small senior dog (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! Your dog will be completely pampered and showered with affection during the time we are together. Your dog will be treated like a royal guest! We have plenty of large windows to look out and soft couches to relax on. We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. I strive to offer them a home away from home, all while allowing them to freedom to wander and relax wherever they feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting your pup!

Cheryl provided loving, thorough care to our spoiled 4 year old shishon! She sent pictures and videos and was very easy to coordinate with throughout the process. It definitely gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing he was in a safe, cuddly environment!
Cheryl did an excellent job taking care of our cats!! She made sure all of their things were cleaned and gave our needy cat plenty of attention. We had a last minute emergency too, and she was able to help us out. We were so grateful for her!

Schedule
I currently work from home with a flexible schedule that is determined by me. I am home all day and can attend to your pet's needs whenever necessary. If they are at my home, I allow your pet to wander freely and find a spot to relax wherever they feel comfortable. My goal is to provide them with as much playtime and attention as they want when we are together.

I have experience caring for dogs with extreme needs and will be sure to give your pet the best care in the world. I will also send pictures and/or videos of our time together if you wish.
Pets
A typical day
I will be at home working on the computer and the dogs can roam freely and plop down wherever they like. We will go outside every two hours or so to sniff around, take a potty break, and get some scratches and tummy rubs!
