“Kate (and her family) are wonderful! From the moment I contacted her, Kate impressed me with her genuine caring and interest in my Benji. He has a medical condition - Cushing's Disease, which requires meds to be given on schedule 3x a day, and more potty breaks than a well pup would require. Her lifetime of experience and ease with animals was obvious from the moment we met. Benji's comfort and confidence with Kate, her family and their home, was immediate. As someone who had been nervous about leaving my buddy prior to meeting Kate, I wound up feeling very confident and comfortable leaving him with her! Kate was fantastic with Benji! She sent me photos each day, which allowed me to see his activities and how much fun he was having on his vacation! She also kept me informed of how he was doing overall, with his meds, and didn't hesitate to ask questions or let me know about any concerns that she had - I so appreciate these interactions! Kate is an awesome sitter and person, and I recommend her with all of my heart! She took wonderful care of my Benji, and I know that he's looking forward to his next vacation with her! Oh wow, booking a stay for our dog with Armida has officially set the bar incredibly high for what great dog care can and should look like! From before the booking even started, she wanted to know the interests and preferences of our pup, and planned around it all, including her own sleeping arrangements to ensure our pup was comfortable!! She pampered our pup so well, it felt that the dog was welcomed as a part of their family for the week! I cannot recommend Armida highly enough! One of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever met, too. We will forever be using Armida for our dog care needs for as long as she is available!!
Heidi and her family were just terrific! I would definitely use them again! As with all dog sitters, it’s important to have a pre-understanding of the times that you can drop your dog off and pick them up. Because these wonderful people work and so for example on a Monday morning, I had to pick my dog up either before 7:15 AM or after 10:30 AM. That was absolutely fine with me, but I do recommend that everybody pre-arrange that so there are no surprises. Heidi also kept sending me pictures of my dog and I really appreciated that.
