“Buster had a blast with the dogs in the yard. He was all doggie smiles when we picked him up! On top of that, I booked for the wrong day and Richard was nothing but nice about it, and completely accommodating. We’ll be back when we come through Pittsburgh again.”

“Michael was absolutely amazing. We got video updates, as well as pictures while my husband and I were out at Kennywood. It took a lot for us to leave our baby for the first time, but Michael immediately made us feel comfortable. He also has quite the impressive set up that accommodates all dogs needs. Amare’ didn’t want to leave when we picked her up! We will absolutely be returning customers. If you’re thinking about booking him for your dog, read no further and DO IT! Thank you so much again, Michael!”

“Cassandra and her family are great. We felt immediately at ease dropping off our 8month old Lab, which was wonderful since it was our first time using rover. She seemed to have a clear understanding of puppy behavior and asked questions about our preferences and how we do things at home. Additionally, her home was very tidy which is important to us as it reassured us that our puppy would be safe in the environment. Our Charlie girl came home well cared for and sleepy. We really enjoyed meeting Cassandra and look forward to more visits with her!”

“Anthony was great watching my dog. Very responsible and caring. I can tell Finnegan got plenty of play time by the photos and videos. Would not think twice about letting Finnegan stay there again. Awesome!”

“My girl absolutely loves spending the day with Amy! We always get pictures and updates and know our girl is going to have a fantastic time. She gets so excited on the way there, it's awesome.”

“Aaron did a great job with Tex! He met us at the car for the drop off and pick up. Tex was tired but happy!”

About: Not only am I a true dog lover, I am also a sport dog owner and handler that brings over 15 years of experience to the table. I have had dogs my entire life, but I have been actively competing in a variety of dog sports for over 8 years and training my own dogs for over a decade. If you would like to learn more about my dogs, feel free to ask me or look up my business page (JK9 Pet Services, LLC) to learn more about us. I do charge more on Rover than I do direct booking, but I am open to offering discounts to my repeat clients if they prefer to use the Rover platform. I offer a specialized style of boarding that focuses on the individual care of each dog. This is not a day care style boarding facility and if you would like your dog to play with unfamiliar dogs, I am not the sitter for you. This allows me to take dogs that need specialized care, can't be with other dogs for a variety of reasons, and puppies or seniors that may not be suited for group play. I also have a lot of experience with special needs dogs, higher energy breeds, dog reactive dogs, and the health and safety of my boarders is always my top priority. I offer a monthly promotional item that I will send home with your dog as well as a toy or a bag of treats as a thank you. I am also a PA licensed retailer and carry a small variety of products that are available for purchase. I work from home so I have a fairly flexible schedule for pick ups and drop offs for boarding. I do have the ability for drop in care up to 4 times a day, but I have limited my drop in services to my neighborhood to help make things easier to accommodate the needs of your pets. My calendar is also regularly updated to show when I am available and is updated several months in advance. Drop off and pick up times during the day are typically the easiest for me to accommodate since my dogs do have classes and things some nights and weekends. All boarding dogs will get an indoor space that is all theirs in a kennel run or a crate. All kennel runs are 5'x5' and include water, a kuranda bed, blankets, and a crate mat to keep them comfortable. I will also use calming sprays and treats as needed and always use a calming pheromone plug in. Owners are also welcome to send anything they'd like to make their dog feel at home. Every dog also gets one of my monthly promotional items and a toy or bag of treats to take home. My drop in services are not based on number of pets, but are based on the amount of time it requires me to take care of your dog or cats needs. Each visit will be a minimum of 30 minutes and each drop in visit is billed in 30 minute intervals opposed to number of pets.

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful with our 6 year old dog, Meeko. Meeko absolutely adores being at her house to play fetch all day long and take long walks in the woods. I would highly recommend Sarah for all of your dog sitting needs! She treats Meeko just like she would her own dog. Meeko has an absolute blast every time he stays at Sarah’s!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Jennifer and Devin were amazing to our 2 dogs. Not only were they incredibly considerate of our request (Christmas Day!) but were so great at communicating throughout the entire visit. It wouldn’t have been a better visit. Thank you so so so much.”

“Niki is super communicative and always treats Max so well!”

“Kate is the best. She was affectionate and caring, sending updates at least twice a day. My dog got on so well with her and her family that he whined when it was time to leave. Thank you Kate!”

“I left my Pomeranian in daycare from April 24 to May 8, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was clearly well cared for, happy, and relaxed every time I picked him up. Communication was great, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Thank you for the reliable, loving care—will definitely book again!”

About: I am a patient and caring dog owner who has been surrounded by pets my whole life. They are a complete part of our family! I currently work from home with my own 2 small dogs (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! Your dog will be completely pampered and showered with affection during the time we are together. Your dog will be treated like a royal guest! We have plenty of large windows to look out and soft couches to relax on. We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. I strive to offer them a home away from home, all while allowing them to freedom to wander and relax wherever they feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting your pup! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule that is determined by me. I am home all day and can attend to your pet's needs whenever necessary. If they are at my home, I allow your pet to wander freely and find a spot to relax wherever they feel comfortable. My goal is to provide them with as much playtime and attention as they want when we are together. I will live up to your expectations and follow directions completely. I look forward to caring for your pet in whatever way necessary. I have experience caring for dogs with extreme needs and will be sure to give your pet the best care in the world. I will also send pictures and/or videos of our time together if you wish.

“My Maltese, Aimee, had a wonderful time at Jaime's, playing with her Havanese and running around in their enclosed backyard. Aimee was safe, well fed, and loved on. Aimee and I both had good playdates that day.”

About: My husband, my dog and I live on 2 acres of property, half of which is fenced in (most of the yard is shown in my pictures). The other half that is not fenced in is a great place for running around and playing fetch. I have an extra long recall leash that I use to play fetch with dogs that cannot be taken off leash which has worked out really well. We also go on regular walks as well as longer trail walks in the woods. When your pup is staying with us, they will find a relaxing home away from home, with daily exercise and frequent potty breaks. Callie is a super sweet and low energy dog who gets along with medium to low energy dogs: shy dogs tend to be very comfortable around her. **Moderate to high energy dogs are not the best fit for our home. **It is required that your pup’s nails are maintained/trimmed as most of my floors are wood :) I rescued Callie four years ago, but prior to that I was a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society in the Northside for several years. I took several dog behavior classes during my time at the Humane Society. I have also worked with a professional dog trainer in my own home (Say It Once Dog Training), and am very experienced and passionate about dog training and behavior. Additionally, my husband and I are volunteers with Pilots and Paws dog rescue, where we transport adoptable rescue dogs by private plane to their foster or permanent homes in PA. My dog Callie is my whole world and I go above and beyond to make sure she has the best life possible! I have a special place in my heart for senior and rescue dogs :) **I don’t have any breed preferences as long as your dog is friendly with other dogs and will not chew on/destroy items in the home (outside of dog toys/bones/dog related items). I work from home and my house is on 2 acres of property so I am flexible with being able to care for your dog’s needs and encourage regular outside breaks/ lounging time. I never leave dogs outside unattended while they are in my care. I am very particular about caring for your pup in the exact way that you prefer and they are comfortable with. I am adamant about my dog keeping her routine and level of comfort when I am out of town, so I will do the same for you and your dog when they are in my care :)

About: I had a dog every since I was 2 years old. I’ve taken care of fosters, my own dogs, friends dogs. I can give references if needed I work from home M,T, F and can give my animals full attention. Dogs will be given constant access to my huge back yard and plenty of attention. I have a calm submissive golden doodle and a full fenced in back yard. I can care for most dogs but if you have a jumper of over 48 inches then this may not be the best fit as I give my dogs free range of the yard when I work.

“Sarah took excellent care of my pup! She came home happy and tired, which is a good thing. Would definitely recommend her!”
