“Amazing! Tia is very sweet from the moment you meet her. She treated my dogs as her own. She sent pictures and videos during the stay, and they were happy when I picked them up.”

“Chang sent us lots of pictures of our dog looking Happ and having a good time at her house. She was really kind and easy to work with. We will be using her again.”

“Amy was amazing! Extremely responsive from beginning to end, very flexible, and took great care of my pup. Sent lots of pics and updates. 10/10 would recommend and book with her again.”

“It was the first time leaving my two Cavaliers with someone other than a family member. Lisa calmed my anxiety and sent several updates over the weekend. She accommodated my lazy, anxious older dog as well as my rambunctious puppy. Both pups were content and relaxed! I would definitely book Lisa again.”

“Denise is awesome! She is kind, communicative, and thoughtful, and provides a friendly and healthy environment for pups. Was great about sending updates and photos daily so I got to see how happy my dog was in her care. We’d love to book with Denise again.”

“This was the best pet sitting experience we could have hoped for! It is our first time using Rover and Laurie was an absolute delight. She treated Sadie as if she were her own and updated us daily with photos. We will 100% recommend and use her again ! 10/10!”

About: I have years of experience caring, loving, and training dogs. Navigating three senior dogs (18 years+) at once I can administer oral and topical medication and understand the gentle and considerate care senior dogs require. I’ve trained two puppies from zero to age two in accordance with the Canine Good Citizen Standards. I believe in a fear free positive reinforcement training and caretaking style and am studying to help generally train service dogs (online training and I’ve shadowed a non-profit trainer). Pet care is ingrained in my daily and weekly schedule with the ability to work from WiFi, and it’s a blessing. From walking, movement, exercise, brain stimulating games, and general care - it is all included in my day. I care for your pets how I’d want someone to care for my pet - of the highest standard of attention and thoughtfulness in both my space and yours.
“Raeann is a compassionate and caring person who showed great affection towards our 12 y/o girl. Would recommend her services and would like to use her services in the future.”

“Cheryl gives my pup a second home away from home - I could tell from the many pictures she sent that he was comfortable, happy, and loved just like he is with his family. I could not be more pleased. Thank you for being awesome, Cheryl <3”

“Maria was fantastic! She kept our sweet girl on short notice and was excellent. Sent me pictures and kept me updated on how she was doing since this was first visit! Marley was in great hands. I would recommend Maria. She was awesome!”

“I’m so glad to have found Courtney. She has been absolutely wonderful with my 2 dogs and they are always happy to see her. She takes such good care of them and keeps me posted with pictures and information on what they are up to. I’m very happy and know they are in good hands with Courtney. I can go away and not worry cause I know she is there with them. Thank you Courtney!”

“Adrienne took our dog for a really nice hike. She is a high energy dog and really needed this. When we picked her up we knew she had been spoiled and loved on.”

“Tamara was an excellent sitter for my little dog! I will definitely book her in the future! I'm not sure my dog even wanted to come home. She was comfortable there from the get go! Tamara also went above and beyond when my dog grabbed a chicken bone thrown in the grass.”

“They were absolutely amazing. I messed up our travel dates and they kept our Newfie I was so stressed even telling them. He played all day, loved on their child, helped with projects and slept like a rock. If they will have us back, we would use them in heartbeat. Thanks guys! Mack Truck had a great stay. If your baby bear wants a visit, lmk. He would be happy to come give more loves.”

“Julia was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Poppy, over the holiday weekend. Poppy has a special diet and can’t have any human food, and Julia was very careful to follow all of her instructions. Poppy also gets a little anxious when left alone, especially during fireworks, and Julia was incredibly patient and comforting with her throughout the weekend. Julia kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Poppy and knew exactly how to make her feel safe and comfortable. From the moment they met, Julia put Poppy at ease. it was obvious she’s a true dog person. Julia is mature, responsible, and an excellent communicator. We felt completely comfortable leaving Poppy in her care and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. We highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter!”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Canela loved staying with Jessica, Ted, and their kids! We received many photo updates which we greatly appreciated. It was also great that the family was able to stay with Canela most of the time, as she is used to people being around most of the day. She came home to us happy, healthy, and worn out from all her playing during what we would call a 5 star stay!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Clinton
We could not have found a better dog sitter than Cassandra. Our old dog Pippi was a challenge - multiple accidents - yet Cassandra was so understanding and tolerant! And her children were great with Pippi, giving her belly rubs and lots of attention, so much so that she practically purred.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
