About: My wife Christa and I both enjoy pets, so we use this app and wag to book walks and occasional pet sittings. We love long walks of 2-3 miles and enjoy walking with dogs since we are out anyways. We have walked over 100 dogs on the wag app and have a 5 star rating. We do this for fun really! We used to have dogs but now we just spoil other dogs. I walk dogs part time and when I am free. I am available in the evenings or weekends and don't mind a little travel to get to your pet. I typically don't board pets in my home, but have watched pets in Pet Parents homes when needed. My preference is walks only but I will watch if needed.

About: I grew up with dogs as pets in our home and I currently have a Labrador. I have over 15 years of dog care experience and would be happy to care of your fur baby and give them a wonderful staycation of their own while you are away. I would love to know about your pet’s daily routine, special needs, exercise requirements , medication and allergy information - please share as much details possible. I can attend to picky eaters - just let me know your fur baby’s likes and dislikes, how they want to be fed. I will be able to follow their daily health supplement , oral medication requirements. I love taking my dog on long walks, trails and your pup will be enjoying the same outdoor activities while staying at my place. Looking forward to meeting your fur baby ! I work remotely and taking care of your pup will fit well in my daily routine as I also have my own fur baby. My calendar is up to date . I have fully fenced in yard and your pets will be safe and well taken care of while at my place. I would love to take your pups for walks, have backyard playtime and running. As a dog mom myself , I completely understand the emotion we go through when leaving our fur babies away and knowing that , I want to assure you that your pup’s emotional and physical security will be my top priority. They will be spoiled with cuddles, hugs and indoor- outdoor relax time as per their liking. The fenced in yard is where they can run and play to their hearts content carefree and I do have lots of outdoor toys for them to enjoy.

We were going to be away for a week so I needed to know it would work before I left for that long. She took great care of them while we were on vacation. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, with the majority of my hands-on experience in the last five years. I currently care for my own dog, Layla, and have also fostered, so I’m comfortable working with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I’ve potty trained three dogs, including my own, a foster dog, and a puppy I raised for about six months before transitioning him to my parents. That experience gave me a strong understanding of consistency, structure, and reinforcing good habits. I’ve provided both boarding and in-home pet sitting for multiple households, including homes with multiple dogs and homes with both dogs and cats. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I understand how important consistency, patience, and communication are while owners are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and communicative throughout stays, and I treat every pet like my own. My dog Layla may accompany me during some house sitting stays depending on the pets and circumstances. She is friendly, social, and has done very well with other dogs during previous stays. I work full-time during weekdays, so I’m typically out of the home for about 9 hours during the day. Pets in my care should be comfortable with that schedule, and I make sure they are exercised, settled, and comfortable before I leave, with plenty of attention, walks, and interaction when I return home. On weekends, I’m much more available and hands-on, which allows for extra walks, playtime, enrichment, and cuddle time. Whether I’m boarding, doing daycare, or staying in a client’s home, I aim to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, behavior, and specific needs so I can provide consistent care and maintain the environment they’re used to. I live in an apartment with multiple grassy areas nearby for walks and bathroom breaks, along with an on-site dog park for additional exercise and enrichment. I tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. I’m experienced with dogs of different temperaments and can reinforce routines such as feeding schedules, crate training, potty habits, and calm household behavior if needed. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I prioritize safety, communication, cleanliness, and creating a calm environment where pets can relax and feel at home.

I currently enjoy going on daily walks, so I'm happy to give dogs the exercise and attention they need. I'm reliable, patient, and understand that every pet has its own personality and routine. My schedule is very flexible right now! I recently returned to IUP to finish my senior year of nursing school. While I’m here, I’m available most days for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits whenever possible. My class schedule varies each day, but I’m flexible and will always work around it to provide your pets with the best care and attention! When caring for pets in my client's home, I always follow their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I use a leash for all walks and outdoor potty breaks, and I can crate dogs when needed if that's part of their routine. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. I'm happy to follow any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), and any special care your pet requires. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while you're away.
