“Above & Beyond with updates & pictures without even asking! Such kind people & nice home that I feel total ease leaving my doggie in their care! They even introduced him to his new fav toy! Doggy heaven!”

“Eronda’s heart bleeds for dogs. We had her dog sit our dog for 10 days. He is an anxious dog and returned happier than ever and we enjoyed our vacation knowing he was in the best of hands. Thanks so much Eronda!!”

“Mary and family were the best. She treated Sullivan as one of her own, sent pictures, and was super responsive with messages. She went above and beyond to make Sullivan feel at home by allowing him to "rest" on furniture, taking him for several walks a day, and even taking him to a baseball game. I just hope she will have him back :).”

“Victoria is amazing and responsive. She provides many updates and is flexible when our travel plans have gone awry. Our dogs are in the best care possible when they stay with her.”

“Amy was great! Our dog was there for a week, it was our first time boarding with other dogs present and I was a little anxious. Amy made sure to send pictures and show how much fun Tater was having. Our trip was over a holiday so I was grateful for her flexibility. Drop off and pick up were easy. Thanks, Amy!”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.

“Laura provided the perfect vacation for our Molly, who is older and just needs love and companionship. She was very accommodating to our schedule and easy to work with. We would highly recommend Laura and I am sure we will be using here in the future. Dave P.”

About: I have spent years caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and needs — from sweet little dachshunds like Margot to big, lovable German Shepherds like Caesar. Every dog has their own routine, comfort level, and personality, and I take pride in making sure each pup feels safe, happy, and at home. As a professional dog groomer, I have experience handling dogs with many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, communication, and creating a stress-free environment. My grooming background has taught me how to read body language, recognize when a dog needs space, and provide gentle, attentive care. At home, my two friendly pups, Coco and Ryker, help make our house a welcoming place for social dogs who enjoy companionship. I have a fenced-in yard where pups can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and get plenty of exercise. My goal is to provide a home away from home where your dog feels loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog like they are my own and prioritize safety, routine, and lots of tail wags. I work Tuesday–Saturday, 9 AM–4 PM as a professional dog groomer. Depending on the pup’s comfort level, they may be able to come along with me to my dog-friendly workplace. When we’re home, your dog gets plenty of love, attention, outdoor time, and a cozy home away from home. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home environment where every pup is treated like one of my own. As a professional dog groomer, I have experience handling dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I understand the importance of patience, safety, and reading each dog’s individual needs. During their stay, pets will receive plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and outdoor time in my fenced-in yard. I also offer grooming add-ons such as baths, brush-outs, and nail trims to help your pup go home feeling fresh and comfortable. I keep a clean, calm environment and prioritize each dog’s routine, comfort level, and safety. My goal is for every pet to feel relaxed, loved, and at home while they are in my care.
“Alex is a fantastic sitter. She sent me lots of photos of Hank during my trip, and when circumstances held me up for an extra day, she was willing to extend the booking. I can feel confident leaving Hank with her, knowing that he will be in good hands, and I highly recommend Alex to any pet parent.”

“Bo seemed very at ease at Audrey's house. I appreciated the daily updates on him too! Thank you so much - will rebook if you're available the next time”

“Jeannine is always so polite and great at communicating. With each picture or video we got I could tell Opall was feeling more comfortable and enjoying herself. I will book again. Thanks!”

“Coralee and her family are wonderful people. They were so warm and loving, it felt like we were leaving Olive with family. Olive and Coralee's pup Angel became good friends. Olive looked happy and relaxed in all the pics Coralee sent, which we appreciated a lot along with her regular updates. Would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“Mary was great for our last minute trip and flexible with scheduling, which was much appreciated. I love that our boy got tons of outside time while we were away. It was exactly what he needed. She provided pictures and updates daily. Our boy came home happy and tired.”

“Adrienne took our dog for a really nice hike. She is a high energy dog and really needed this. When we picked her up we knew she had been spoiled and loved on.”

“Denise is amazing! My pup was so happy and loved. Her and her husband took great care of my dog and kept me up to date on him throughout everyday with plenty of videos and pictures. Best part is he came home exhausted which is always a great sign that he had so much fun. We will be booking again!”

“Megan and her family are delightful. I felt safe leaving nugget with them because since moment one she was charming, transparent and sweet. My best recommendation for the platform is to honestly confess that I will rebook if I ever need a sitter again. Nugget was so visibly happy”

“Top tier sitter. Exceeds expectations! Very watchful and kept me updated when my dog was having a potential colitis flare up. Willing to go pick up medication if needed. I always love the attention he gets from their children.”

Silvana is an amazing puppy sitter who provided exceptional care, regular photo updates, and a safe, loving environment for our dog. What Makes Silvana Great? Daily updates: Sent cute photos and fun messages every day. Great care: Fed our puppy on time and gave him lots of playtime. Safe home: Kept a clean, puppy-safe space where our dog felt happy and relaxed. Easy communication: Replied very fast to every message. Thank you again Silvana :) Millie loves you!
Erin was amazing. As a first time user of these services, I was hesitant to utilize these services. I also did not want to board him with limited time of attention. Erin was very responsive and provided numerous photos and feedback every single day without prompting. Duke loved his time spent there and would highly recommend utilizing Erin in the future.

Lisa was wonderful! When Artie got there for her meet and greet she just made herself at home. She got along with the other dogs so well. I think she misses them now that she is home. Lisa provided good feedback on how Artie was doing. She also made us aware of a possible medical issue. We made an appointment with Artie's vet to have her evaluated this week. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a good caring dog lover to care for their pet !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
