Melissa and her family were so amazing with my dog, Cooper. They graciously took him last minute for 2 daycare visits and treated him just like one of their own. He got tons of outside time and snuggles and was tired out when I picked him up each time. We gradually introduced the dogs and they got along well. You can tell their house is full of love– I felt very comfortable leaving my pup there to enjoy his time.

Michael is simply amazing. We have a one year old beagle mix who has a lot of energy and separation anxiety. We did a meet and greet a few days ago. I was so worried she was going to act up when we left her but she just happily walked in then backyard and played hard!! We def recommend Michael and will be using him in the future for doggie daycare!

My puppy Breya seemed to be having fun by the pictures that were sent to me. When I picked her up she was tired and didn't even want to stick her head out the car window on the drive home. To me that means she had a good time and was occupied while there and not just laying around being ignored. She is an active puppy. Definitely will schedule with Amy again.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of 15+ years of hands-on experience with dogs and my genuine passion for providing exceptional animal care. Caring for pets has always been something I love, and I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. I am experienced with dog walking, pet sitting, grooming, puppy care, and providing extra patience and attention for senior pets. I understand that puppies need consistency, positive reinforcement, exercise, and guidance as they learn, while senior pets often require a gentler approach, extra comfort, and attention to changes in their needs. I also have experience caring for cats and understand the importance of respecting their individual personalities—whether they are playful and social or more independent and reserved. My goal is to provide more than just basic care. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and enriching experience for every pet while giving owners peace of mind through reliable communication, updates, and personalized attention. I treat every animal as if they were my own and feel honored to be trusted with someone’s furry family member. I am currently dedicating my full-time focus to growing my animal care business, which allows me to provide flexible, reliable, and attentive care for my clients’ pets. Because pet care is my primary commitment, I’m able to give each animal the time, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. My daily routine revolves around creating a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every pet in my care—whether that means morning walks, playtime, feeding routines, enrichment activities, grooming needs, or simply providing companionship while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take pride in being dependable, responsive, and treating every pet as if they were my own. I offer flexible, dependable pet care options designed to keep your furry family member happy, comfortable, and well cared for in the environment where they feel most at ease. I provide in-home visits, dog walking, and overnight stays for both dogs and cats, with care tailored to each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. Whether your pet needs daily exercise, companionship, feeding routines, medication reminders, playtime, or extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to provide the level of care that works best for them. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe and loved. I also offer pet grooming services, including basic grooming care to help your pet look and feel their best. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care while giving you peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a sweet three-year-old chihuahua mix, and I truly enjoy meeting and bonding with new dogs. I work from home full-time, so your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, and play throughout the day. I live on Pittsburgh’s Northside with a small, secure fenced-in yard, perfect for safe outdoor fun. Since I work from home full time, I can give your pet plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I have a small fenced-in yard in Pittsburgh’s Northside for safe outdoor breaks, plus I love getting out for longer walks with my dog, at least once a day. Pet care is part of my daily routine, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. When pets stay with me, they’re treated like family. They’re welcome to relax on the furniture, nap on the couch, or sunbathe on the deck. I stick to their regular routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to help them feel comfortable and at home. I also have a baby gate to limit access to stairs for small dogs when needed. Since I work from home, I’m always nearby to give them the attention, care, and love they deserve.

Christy has watched Peach throughout her entire life; sometimes it was a weekly basis, a few times she watched her at a last minute Emergency notice, and had even boarded her over a long weekend. Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. I hope I never have to go through the process of figuring out another sitter because Christy is the one for us; Highly Recommend for any of you and your pets needs! Thank You Christy for Everything over the last 3 years!!!

Toby had a great time with Lisa, Willow and Wylie! He loved running and playing on this beautiful property while getting special treatment and love. Lisa provided pictures of the walk they took and of Toby with her pups playing. I would recommend Lisa and Randy for daycare or boarding and we will have Toby visit again soon.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Seven Fields on Rover is $39.96 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 646 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Seven Fields. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Seven Fields commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 646 sitters in Seven Fields, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
