“This was the second time I booked Taylor to stay with Sunshine my Labrador Retriever. Taylor is very reliable and excellent at caring for Sunshine. She followed my instructions and will care your fur baby and your home very well. I will definitely rebook Taylor! 😀❤️”

“Amanda was incredible with my intense boxer puppy. She was calm and loving and did a great job watching over our boy. He had a blast and slept most of the next day. Thank you Mandy! You are always welcome in our home.”

About: I’ve pet sit for family and friends over the years! I’ve taken care of puppies to senior dogs with diapers. I’m also comfortable with cats and comfortable cat sitting too. I’ve pet sat for small and large dogs and love to hot girl walk, so I’ll make sure your four legged friend gets their steps in too! I work in office 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday, so I’m happy to help out after work or over the weekends! I currently work full-time in an office Monday through Friday, so I’m happy to look after your pet before/after work and on the weekends! I can stay overnight and I am an active person, so I’m happy to provide long walks to keep your pet active while you’re away. I’m comfortable with wet and dry food, happy to help stick to a medication schedule if your pet is on one. I love to go on walks, so I’m happy to walk your dog or play outside to keep them active while you’re away. If accidents happen in the house, I’m happy to clean them up, but would like to know your preferred method of cleaning/products at your home and ready to use.
“Mila far exceeded our expectations. She did a wonderful job with our fur babies and communication with us was phenomenal. We would use her services again without hesitation.”

“We hired Erin to care for our three-year-old tuxedo cat, Lilly, for six nights. As first-time clients, we appreciated how regularly she kept us informed. She often shared photos and videos, and her strong communication skills made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Although she works primarily as a dog sitter, it was clear that she and Lilly quickly bonded - the photos showed the feeling was mutual. Erin also helped with a few household tasks, including setting out the garbage and watering our plants while we were gone. We returned to a tidy, well-kept home and a happy, well cared for cat. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Erin again. In fact, we think Lilly already misses her. Thank you, Erin!”

About: I trained my childhood German Shepherd, Bailey, and cared for her throughout her life, including her senior years. That experience taught me so much about patience and being attentive to a pet’s needs. My childhood cat Arty was rescued when he was sick, and I helped take care of him as he recovered, which showed me how important gentle and thoughtful care is. Now I have my own cat, Willie, who is playful, affectionate, and so loved. Taking care of him every day has made me even more detail oriented when it comes to routines and making pets feel safe and comfortable. While my full-time schedule limits my availability, I’m grateful to offer dedicated care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays, and after 5 PM on Saturday evenings for pet parents who need a helping hand. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their usual routines, respect their space, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own.
About: I’ve taken care of kittens, Cats, Puppies, Dogs, even chickens. I have done it all. I am very reliable when it comes to dog walking, because I walk my dog every day. I have a French bulldog myself, his expertise, health, and happiness is one of my main priorities. I love animals and have been loving them ever since I was a little girl. I have a huge heart when it comes to them, they are the best for comfort, and deserve to be loved by everyone. They are just the most precious little babies ever! 🫶 I am mostly free in the mornings and in the afternoons. When ever I have the time I am always on a walk with my dog or at the park with him trying to get him the exercise he needs. Cause he is a little big for his breed and needs the exercise and and to be out of the house. As soon as I wake up I take my dog out for a walk. Then I fill up his bowl with food and his other with water. Then in the afternoon when I get done school I’ll take him out again. And lastly at night I take him out for the third time. Give him food and water. He is my #1 priority as always (: I try and play with him as much as I can during the day, but I’m a busy girl so I do my best!

“We had such a great experience with our dog sitter! She was a wonderful option for us since we didn’t want to board our two dogs and had never left our youngest before. She was caring, dependable, and kept us updated while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. It made our first time leaving Winston so much easier knowing he was in such good hands. We would definitely recommend her and will absolutely use her”

I have experience in giving dogs baths if you ever need me to give your dog one I’d be happy to. Pet sitting is my full time job, which means your pets are my top priority! I’m available throughout the week for drop ins, walks, and extended stays, and I do my best to accommodate a wide range of schedules. “We had Brianna watch our special needs dog overnight and she was wonderful. Could not have been happier and I plan to use her again in the future. Great care and compassion for her pets. Felt completely at ease knowing Tanner was in good hands. So pleased!”

“She stayed over for a long weekend and was amazing. Great communication the whole time with pictures everyday and let us know how our little guy was doing. Easily accommodated to what our needs were with no issues at all. Will definitely us her again and again!!!”

“Abby was wonderful! Both of my dogs were exceptionally cared for. She kept me up-to-date while she was house sitting. She exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Abby for your pet sitting needs!”
“I cannot say enough about Corinne as she went above and beyond my expectations. She spent 10 days house and dog sitting. She sent me pictures of Tippy. She not only put clean sheets on the bed she laundered the sheets and towels. Corinne is friendly and you can tell she enjoys what she does. I would have her stay again.”

“Mike was absolutely wonderful. He watched our pups in our home and I felt safe and stress free. My dogs were in such great care. They loved him... maybe a little too much! I would definitely book with him again.”

“Emma was wondeful! She quickly established rapport with our two reactive dogs. She sent updates and photos, which we greatly appreciated. Emma was respectful and kept our home tidy. We already have her booked for an upcoming trip and have recommended her to some family friends!”

“Meme is a senior Chihuahua mix, so she’s set in her ways and headstrong. But Casie was great with her! She gave plenty of updates while we were away, and Meme was in good spirits when we got home. We will definitely book Casie for dog sitting again in the future.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Teresa. We wanted someone to stay in our house and dog sit our rescue dog while we were on vacation. From the first moment we met Teresa we had confidence that she was the right person. Teresa arrived for our meet and greet with a thorough questionnaire that proved her earnestness to provide quality care for our dog and our house. The entire time we were away, she sent videos and photos that gave us peace knowing our dog was in good hands. We returned home to a happy dog and a tidy house. I highly recommend Teresa. Your pet will love her and you will too.”

Luke is a very kind, and professional. He took care of our 3 dogs while my husband was having his lumbar surgery and I stayed at a hotel. We kept in contact with each other. When I returned the house was in the same condition before we left and the dogs were in a calm state of mind when we returned. Royce kept looking out the sliding glass door for Luke to return. I'm so happy they got along for Royce don't take to just anyone but they both found a forever buddy and we hope to have Luke around again for his services. I had no worries. He showed up on time and was ready to work very early. Thanks Luke for all your help, Lee and I and the dogs are forever grateful for your help. Thank you, Tammy, Lee, Royce,Ruby and WeeWee.

Anna was fantastic! She was very accommodating, professional, and a joy to work with during our time together. Our fur baby doggie loved her. She followed our schedule to a T and sent pictures and updates daily. My husband & I had zero anxiety while she was dog sitting for us. Five star for sure!!

Mila is wonderful and worth every penny! She stayed in our home for several days and took great care of our dogs while sending regular updates. The pups clearly loved her despite forcing her to give them several baths due to their rough housing in the backyard. She kept an eye on the house, packages, plants, you name it. We will certainly use her again and highly recommend her as being trustworthy and thorough.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Seven Fields on Rover is $71.04 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Seven Fields walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Seven Fields maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Seven Fields choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
