While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. About: I’ve had animals in my life pretty much since I was born, so taking care of pets has always been a normal part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have been feeding them, walking them, bathing them, playing with them, and taking care of them on my own for as long as I can remember. I also regularly take care of my neighbors’ pets when they’re on vacation or working long hours, and I’ve watched friends’ pets for longer periods of time, including caring for a dog while they were away in Mexico for a week. I currently have five cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with cats too! I clean their litter, feed them, play with them, keep them entertained, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I also had a cat who was both blind and deaf, so I have some experience caring for a pet with special needs and understand that they may need extra patience, attention, and adjustments to their normal routine. I have two homes where I can care for pets, so I can offer a little flexibility depending on what works best for you and your pet. My Slippery Rock house is pet-free, so dogs and cats are both welcome there! We have a large yard where I can take dogs outside to play and get some exercise, and I can also take them on walks. There are other girls living in the house, but I would be the one responsible for your pet’s care. My Wexford home is an apartment where I have my five cats. All of my cats are vaccinated, healthy, and used to being around other cats, so cats are welcome there as well. I’m not able to have dogs at my Wexford home. I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home.
