About: I am an animal lover and I have always had pets. The past few years I have been saving lives and fostering with One By One Reacue! I am currently on a foster break since I have 4 dogs of my own but help run the rescue in other ways. I am lucky enough to work from home and be with my pets all day. They stay in the general area I am when I work. Since I have 4 dogs of my own, I would like to provide boarding at my house. I am in a town house and I have movable metal fencing for my dogs. I never leave them outside alone. When I do have to run to the store or have plans for the day (usually no more than 8 hours) I have a furbo that I check in on them throughout the day. I also gate off my stairs so no one can use them (or fall down, I had a blind dog and watch one) when I am not there.

About: I am pet CPR and first aid certified. My husband and I have a 5 year old pug. He’s super friendly and loves other dogs. No children in the home. My schedule allows me to be home throughout the day so I can provide frequent potty breaks. I can also provide daily walks or playtime either indoors or in our fenced yard. Our pug is dependent and has a special diet so we’re understanding and happy to accommodate your dog's needs. We do crate, but only when we’re away from the house, which is rare. Drawing from my diverse background as a mother, military veteran, and preschool teacher, I have built strong caregiving skills. In addition, in the past I have worked professionally as a veterinary technician for three years. Throughout my life, I have had the pleasure of owning various pets, including cats, dogs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, fish, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, turtles, and leopard geckos. Currently, I care for an English bulldog, a cat, and three guinea pigs. Having relocated to the Pittsburgh area in June 2024, I am excited to offer customized care solutions for your pet. As a preschool teacher with summers off, I am well-suited to provide your pets with the love, attention, and care they require, treating them with the same kindness I show my own pets. My availability during the school year is limited to nights, weekend, and holiday breaks. I am currently working as a preschool teacher. This gives me the whole summer off which allows me to be very flexible to care for your pets when you can't. I am committed to keeping your pet on the schedule you and your family want for them. “Wonderful experience! Anthony and his wife Leslie were so welcoming to our dog Daisy. We were thrilled to find such a caring and compassionate couple in a quiet neighborhood for our 9-year-old chihuahua mix pup. Daisy is quite reactive to other dogs and small children, but they were able to provide a safe and comfortable home for her while my family was out of town. Beyond excelling at basic care, Anthony and Leslie showered love and attention on Daisy throughout the week. We appreciated the frequent pictures and videos that Anthony sent throughout the week (avg 4 per day) showing Daisy in such bliss - ready for belly rubs, watching squirrels, resting and relaxing, and going for long walks. We could tell she was being well cared-for and more! We highly recommend Anthony and Leslie as pet sitters and look forward to booking with them again in the future. Thank you!”
