About: I am a patient and caring dog owner who has been surrounded by pets my whole life. They are a complete part of our family! I currently work from home with my 1 small senior dog (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! Your dog will be completely pampered and showered with affection during the time we are together. Your dog will be treated like a royal guest! We have plenty of large windows to look out and soft couches to relax on. We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. “So if you are looking for a breath of fresh air for an animal sitter do not look any further. Jodi went beyond just taking care of our dog who is a lab 60 Ibs. Down to every detail I ask her to do she did plus did more. She brought out our garbage to the curb and brought in our mail each day. We had a camera which we told her we had. When we had a chance to look at it she was interacting with our dog, excited to be there and our dog always greeted her with a wagging tail and his toy. She walked him each visit and did not care about the 1/2 hour she had to be there. She stayed as long as he did his business and was happy. She truly loves her job and it shows. If you are reading this review please beware of dog sitters that have good reviews. We do have a camera (which we tell each of them) and have seen dog sitters sit on the chair waiting for the 1/2 hour to be up. They leave back door open and just stand there while the dog is outside for 10 minutes then they leave. When we ask to walk the dog they have an excuse why they did not walk like the weather. Jodi is a gem and nothing like the negative comments I wrote. I will definitely be hiring her again!!”

I have a high energy but aging Vizsla (Cooper), a new to the family rescue shiba inu (Winston), two young children (4, 1) and a husband who works from home most days. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs, ever since I was a little girl. Some of my earliest memories are me snuggling and playing with my first dog, a beautiful black lab named Winchester. I had years with a beloved boxer named Ebony that mark most of my childhood and the best Christmas I ever had was when my parents surprised me with Lionel, our family goldendoodle, as a puppy. I have grown up with dogs and can't imagine a life without a furry friend in it. My experience administering medication I'm a nurse practitioner so I regularly deal with medications and would be willing to help your pet as long as I am given proper instructions on how to give the medication safely! I work full time but have some flexibility with my hours. My husband works from home most days so your pup would generally have one of us home to play with them and care for them while you are away. We have young children so we are rarely out long or late! I have a large fenced back yard with plenty of space for your pup to play with mine! I take safety very seriously and monitor all playtime between your dog and mine.

I have had experience with puppy’s, abandoned dogs, foster dogs and senior dogs. As well as over 20 different breeds. About: • Over 17 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages • Primary caregiver to my senior cocker spaniel Oreo until July 2025, lived to 16.5 years • Comfortable recognizing subtle changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and comfort • Regularly care for my sister’s 3-year-old cocker spaniel Doug with high-energy needs • Experienced balancing senior dogs and young dogs in the same household • Healthcare background as a medical assistant, extremely detail-oriented and reliable • Comfortable with feeding routines, medication schedules, leash walking, enrichment play, and calm decompression time • Frequent photo updates and clear communication with pet parents • Extensive experience supporting elderly dogs with mobility issues, low energy levels, special feeding needs, and comfort-focused routines • Skilled at recognizing early signs of pain, stress, or illness and communicating changes promptly to owners • Work Monday through Thursday • Available mornings before work • Available for lunchtime drop-ins • Evening availability starting at 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm Monday through Thursday • Available most weekends and holidays • Available in the Gibsonia area through mid-August before starting PA school • Any schedule changes are communicated in advance • I do not currently have a resident pet in my home • I regularly care for my sister’s 3-year-old cocker spaniel, Doug, and am comfortable managing high-energy dogs • Safe residential neighborhood with access to North Park for longer walks • Slow, careful introductions when dogs stay together • Crating available if requested • Never leave dogs unsupervised outdoors • Always use secure leashes or harnesses • Follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medication, and routines • Particularly attentive to the unique needs of senior and elderly dogs, including slower walks, frequent potty breaks, and calm environments

About: While volunteering for dog rescue for 6+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to foster over 160 dogs of all ages, administer just about every type of medication, and vaccinate 1000’s of dogs traveling to foster and adopter homes I do not work for anyone else. My time will be fully dedicated to your pet along with my own and with as much love I have 3 friendly dogs at home. I have the ability to keep dogs separately in open or closed rooms. Crates or not crated. Once comfortable, they can spend time on the couch and playtime with other dogs with your approval.
