“David was excellent with my two energetic labs (very patient and kind)! He showed up on time and took them for a walk around the neighborhood, following my instructions. It’s no wonder that he has so many repeat customers…I would definitely ask him to watch my pups again!”

“Clareese takes such good care of our cat!! She takes lots of pictures and gives detailed updates. We would highly recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs. We love her!!!”

“Heather rose up to the challenge of visiting my 2 minipigs twice a day, for an ever extending timeline. She was always able to accommodate, even during XMAS! She is a great sitter and would totally recommend.”

“Divya was amazing! I think the biggest compliment comes from our cat, who was remarkably calm after we returned from quite a long trip. Divya clearly has a passion for earning the trust of animals and making them feel safe. She left detailed reports and photos after every visit and always sought to make progress with our pet, finding more ways to make him feel comfortable and secure. We were very fortunate to hire such a passionate and detail oriented caretaker.”

“Olivia was wonderful! She did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away. Communication was great and based on the daily updates we got, our normally shy cats loved her visits. Will be booking with her in the future!”

“Haley took great care of our cats. She administered medication and earned the trust of our shy cat. She gave consistently updates with pictures, which we appreciated. We've already rebooked her for more check-ins. Thanks Haley!”

“Tony did a wonderful job dropping in on my cat. Tony spent a lot of time getting to know her and from his updates I could tell she was very comfortable when he was visiting. Great check-ins, fun pictures, and I felt very assured my cat was being well cared for by Tony.”

“Lucas was a great help last minute and made sure to find Smokey, who was hiding under a bed. Lucas did not include any written description of the visit but was forthcoming when I requested some additional details.”

“Mary took such great care of our handsome tuxedo cat, Sylvester. I would highly recommend her as she is a reliable, very dependable and very caring person. Also, she sent us great daily pics of Sylvester which we really appreciated.”

“Amy did an excellent job checking on our older pups when we were out of town for a week. Both pups were under the weather and needed a lot of patience and compassion. She made a very trying time a lot easier.”

“Lia was extremely friendly and caring about my dogs. She was very trustworthy and thorough. She made sure to post lots of pictures to show how the doggos were doing. 100% can recommend Lia for anyone who may be a little hesitant to have anyone take care of their dogs.”

“I’m giving Markie five stars because Rufus‘s instructions were followed just fine. The only problem I had is that on Saturday we asked for his visit to be from 5 to 530 and she showed up at 5:30. Then on Sunday we asked for 9 to 930 and she showed up at 20 after nine. I don’t like the thought of my cat wondering where his food is. He has all the kibble he needs so it wasn’t as if he were starving, but being on time is very important to me and it was when I was a sitter. I really do appreciate Markie’s care of our cat. It was just a little delayed. Again, though, five stars and a tip.”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my kitty while we were on vacation! She did occasional drop in visits to play with Zelda, feed her, clean the litter box etc. for the two weeks we were gone. Everything was well taken care of, and Zelda is happy!”

About: I grew up with cats, dogs and fish. As an adult I’ve personally cared for 1 large dog (Rottweiler/Pitbull/Labrador) and 2 cats. The dog was a troubled rescue that I trained and then found a permanent home. I help with my mother's aging Cocker Spaniel and share in the care of my partner's 3 cats. I’m a scooter riding door dasher, short form video and plein air artist. I was a chef/baker for 15 years. My schedule is completely flexible. Please feel free to set my hours. I live with 3 cats at the moment, black, white and grey. It’s like dancing to a meowing grey scale. They are spoiled, but just enough.
“Allicia was wonderful!!! My pets instantly felt at ease with her. She was reliable, sent daily -really cute photos(she could be a pet photographer ?)!! and communicated throughout the service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Teneisha did a wonderful job looking after my two cats. She is very professional and made me feel at ease knowing they were in good hands. She played with them, fed them, sent daily updates with pictures. Will definitely book again next time I’m away from home.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Braddock Hills
Clareese was absolutely amazing with my two boys! One of them likes to get into trouble and when I saw that they had knocked over the trash can she even went over a day early to clean it up! I’m so happy that my boys had someone so loving taking care of them!

Kristiana did a great job. She reported it took a couple visits for everybody to warm up to her, but they did. We came home to happy, relaxed kitty cats ready to play with us. She also followed all our instructions/requests and kept us informed throughout our time away.

Savannah did an excellent job caring for my senior cat, Phoebe, who has some special medical needs including a daily oral pill. I’m always nervous leaving Phoebe alone overnight, but Savannah’s prompt and thorough communication helped put my mind at ease. She gave her lots of care and attention during her visits with Phoebe and took great care of my home as well. I will definitely rebook with Savannah if we need a sitter in the future!

There are no words for how wonderful Breanna has been over the past few years with my high maintenance cat. I am actually reluctant to relocate for work because I know I'll never find a more kind and patient Mo-Whisperer (and a genuinely - like unnecessarily 😂 - talented photographer, which is a lovely bonus)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Braddock Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
