Erin not only took this booking the day before I needed her due to a last minute cancel by another rover user, she also extended the time we needed her for due to medical emergencies. She went over and beyond for our dogs, especially considering she had to keep them separate the entire time and one of the dogs is not potty trained yet. She even washed the rags we provided her to be able to clean the puppies cage when she went to the bathroom! I think it goes without saying that Erin is an extremely reliable dog sitter, our dogs were very happy when we got home and appear to be kept for very well. About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!
About: I have always had animals and pets around me and never hesitated to take care of others pets when needed. I grew up with three labradors, a cat, and a bird. I currently have my own cat with my partner and hope to someday get a medium/large dog! I am currently working full-time remote. I can be flexible on the location I work from depending on my work load on any given day. I can be more flexible after 5pm for some activities. About: I'm a Carnegie Mellon alumni and Floridian transplant who decided to stay and settle in the Burgh. I've volunteered with animals since I was 14, and up until a year ago, I was running my own rescue. I began pet sitting to help pay vet bills for the strays I took in. I have specialized largely in neonatal and senior care, including administering medicine, facilitating special diets, and offering personalized enrichment (including socialization for ferals). I also fed, rehabilitated, vaccinated, and spayed street dogs while living in Mexico. I work from home, and I plan my schedule around the animals in my life. David is reliable, caring, and really great with our (sometimes grumpy) elderly cat. He always goes above and beyond to make sure all is well in our home while we are out of town. I especially appreciate that he always makes sure to find out sometimes difficult to find cat and takes time to make sure he is doing ok.
Claire is super caring & efficient. My one cat, Moe, is usually a super shy dude but he velcroed onto Claire instantly. She sent photo updates from every visit & gave all my babies love while I was gone. I will definitely be booking with her again, great experience!

Breanna was wonderful with our cats while we were away on vacation! She came in for daily drops ins to feed them, scoop litter, and play with them. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
