“Even though we only needed him for one day, we are very pleased with the service he provided to our two kitties. Flynn and Izzy, being true scaredy-cats, ran and hid under our bed as soon as he arrived. Gary then cleaned out the litter, fed them, and checked on their water. He stuck around for a little while to see if the cats would come out of their hiding places. They do not normally come out from there when anyone is at the house. But Flynn eventually came out to the living room to investigate! Izzy popped out of the bedroom, but kept her distance at the end of hallway. Gary got pictures of both and sent them to us, relieving our fears that the kitties would be terrified. Thank you, Gary, for your patience with them. We truly appreciate it.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would! When my partner and I suddenly needed to travel to visit a family member in hospice, Sari got back to me within an hour and set up a meet and greet a day later to come see where everything in our home is and meet the girls. She arrived right on time, notebook in hand with questions prepared about our routines, litter boxes, playtime, and emergency vet info. Her professionalism and preparedness immediately put me at ease and it was so clear how much she truly wanted to know the very best way to care for both of my kitties. I was amazed at how quickly the girls took to her—even my shy girl who typically hides from strangers didn’t bolt and allowed a few pets after Sari sweet talked her! During their visits, Sari would send me a detailed update of what they did that day and how they seem overall as well as some high quality pictures and videos of their time together—it was a highlight of our days while we were gone. When we returned, the litter boxes were clean and tidy and our kitties were happy and healthy :) So so grateful to Sari for her wonderful help and will definitely book again when we go away next!”
“Hailey did an outstanding job caring for our animals. We have quite a few, and she made sure each one received individual time and attention. It was clear she truly cares about animals. She followed every instruction perfectly and I could relax knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend and we will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Kami is the absolute best! I was away for 10 days and she stopped by every day! She took pictures of my cat, which was extremely nice. She was super communicative and followed the care list I left behind exactly. Would definitely recommend!”

“Ananda took wonderful care of our sweet but finicky cat ahead of the holidays! She went above beyond to read care instructions beforehand, sent regular, detailed updates with pictures that put us at ease, and even took the time to feed the wild birds in our yard. Truly an animal person!”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my kitty while we were on vacation! She did occasional drop in visits to play with Zelda, feed her, clean the litter box etc. for the two weeks we were gone. Everything was well taken care of, and Zelda is happy!”

“The 1st time I had to leave my cats, Pookie and Ziggy, with a Pet-Sitter. Sandy was PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL, and stayed and played with my Furbabies. Sandy sent me pictures each day, which put my mind at ease. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sandy!!! I will use her again!!!😻😻😻”

“Jamie went above what I asked and my cat was super happy when I came home! Will definitely be rebooking in the future!! This was my first time using rover and I was very anxious but Jamie was great and I had nothing to worry about.”

“Kaylah is great! This was my first booking with her and I found her to be kind, reliable and attentive to detail. She was also very flexible when I had some unexpected changes to my schedule, which I appreciated. I am new to the area and have some travel coming up in the future - it's a relief to know that someone like Kaylah is nearby to take care of my kitties while I am away.”

“David is the best cat sitter we have ever had. He came and met our two girls ahead of our trip and took notes on their daily routine and preferences. He sent us daily photos and updates. And he spent extra time each day bonding with, playing with, and giving snacks to our girls. They are usually very shy but they loved spending time with him when he came to feed them. He also kept the litter box and water bowls clean and tidy, which is awesome because our cats are young and messy. Lastly he gave us two little stickers of our cats when we returned 🥹 so cute. Would highly recommend him as a sitter for your fur babies! We will definitely be booking again!”

“Lana was so wonderful again! She has become our favorite cat sitter every time we go out of town! She is kind loving and responsible, providing our cats not only the minimum care to survive but extra enrichment to help them thrive!”

“Im trying to find a sitter for my vacation and have been looking everywhere in west mifflin area, south. I also have been taking my dogs to homes to watch them while away, I am newly divorced and my dogs have always gone everywhere with us, but this year as I have them on my own would be too much for one person. I found Alyssa and had no reviews but was in West Mifflin area and does house sitting. This would be a score, but with no reviews very hesitant. Both my dogs have had TPLO surgery and my oldest has a slight neck issue. Our first encounter was a video call. We talked quite some time and I automatically felt at ease. Alyssa is personable, and seems very genuine. We set up a drop in as I left to meet a friend. When Alyssa came to my home, my dogs loved her. Parker even did his under leg walk on her. I felt at ease with my dogs being watch, but also felt my home was in good hands as well. We are working with Alyssa for more visits in the next month until I leave for vacation to become acclimated. My dogs are my kids and think they are human. They have been thru alot with me and I am very particular of who watches my dogs so this is a huge win for us.”

Sari was an absolute pleasure! I was very nervous about leaving my cat for 9 days; Sari assuaged my fears by carrying an aire of consummate professionalism. They took notes, interacted with my cat, asked Important questions, etc. They took pictures and video for me while they visited, which helped when I was missing Mochi. They also left him new toys to play with! I will be booking Sari from now on when going out of town. :)

This the second time Gary dropped in on our cat. Once again, he was a pleasure to work with. It's easy to see he truly loves animals. He was very patient with our shy kitty. He went above and beyond to gain her trust. I highly recommend Gary for pet sitting services.

David performed all that we asked of him, and more. Our cat is not a lap cat, often standoffish, especially around strangers. David has good a rapport as could be expected with our cat Jasmine. David also performed some other favors for us, even bringing in the mail and packages every few days, I should also mention that David faithfully sent us a photo or video of Jasmine on each of his visits. I only wish Jasmine were more personable to reciprocate the care he gave her. We will be happy to seek David's services again, and hope he is available when our ned arises!

I have never left my cat in the care of a stranger before, so after my original sitter fell through I was incredibly nervous when booking a new one, but Cheyenne was perfect. She was available last minute, was super sweet, and sent such cute videos and photos of her with my kitty, who she seemed to do very well with. If I ever find myself needing a cat sitter again I know exactly who to call.

This was our first time using Rover and we were so lucky to connect with our neighbor Ann! Ann is a warm and direct communicator and was wonderful to work with. She is flexible, prompt, responsive, kept us informed, and was generous with extra gestures to look out for our home and cats while we were away for a week. We had never worked with a pet sitter we didn't already know personally, and Ann really put us at ease. Our cats were relaxed and well cared for when we got home. We're thankful to have met Ann and look forward to working with her in the future :) Thank you Ann!
