Erin not only took this booking the day before I needed her due to a last minute cancel by another rover user, she also extended the time we needed her for due to medical emergencies. She went over and beyond for our dogs, especially considering she had to keep them separate the entire time and one of the dogs is not potty trained yet. She even washed the rags we provided her to be able to clean the puppies cage when she went to the bathroom! I think it goes without saying that Erin is an extremely reliable dog sitter, our dogs were very happy when we got home and appear to be kept for very well. She sent us a lot of photos and videos which our son looked forward to seeing everyday, and she kept us up to date on how the dogs were doing! Wasabi is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice per day, and Jess administered the injections with precision and care. Mason has asthma and chronic upper respiratory infections, and they are each on a special diet. Jess made sure to follow all instructions to keep them both comfortable and well. Not only was Jessica reliable and responsible, but she also showed genuine affection for Wasabi and Mason. About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Lucas was excellent with all of our animals! Not only did he care for everyone expertly but he left the sink and pet dishes clean and orderly (not expected but very much appreciated!). He also handled medication for our elderly cat, which is a sigh of relief for when we go on weekend adventures and short trips (something we used to not be able to do before finding helpers such as Lucas :) ).
Savannah was wonderful with Ziggy! She took time with him each visit for play and cuddles and kept me updated with lots of photos and messages. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty. We felt completely secure leaving our Mona cat in the care of Rose. Rose administered her med, interacted with Mona on Mona’s terms, and even went above & beyond and watered our plants. We came home to a happy cat and clean environment. Communication was great while we were away.
