Flynn and Izzy, being true scaredy-cats, ran and hid under our bed as soon as he arrived. Gary then cleaned out the litter, fed them, and checked on their water. He stuck around for a little while to see if the cats would come out of their hiding places. They do not normally come out from there when anyone is at the house. But Flynn eventually came out to the living room to investigate! Izzy popped out of the bedroom, but kept her distance at the end of hallway. About: Hi! I’m Alex, I’m a 28 year old graduate student in Pittsburgh and am looking to make some extra cash by doing the thing I love most - taking care of animals! I grew up with multiple dogs (big and small, young and old), two foster cats and four bunnies. About: I have been watching animals as my full-time profession for over 12 years. I am very loving, nurturing, patient, trustworthy, organized and dependable, which helps me succeed in my speciality of watching the animals out of their homes. However, I do have a very friendly shih-tzu in my home that allows me to watch dogs in my home as well. Half of my yard is fenced in, and the other 1/2 has two leads in case there are dogs that may need separated. I also will walk them daily for exercise. At the meet and greets, I go over a plan where we set the number of hours I can be gone for my walks and visits, and I work within the time frame requested. However, if your pets need let out, fed, etc any where under six hours, I will need to adjust my pricing. I have to honor my regular customers as well. I have worked with all sizes of dog, administer medications, insulin injections, seizure experience, and am known to be very strong, and able to handle the larger breeds. I’ve had dogs for much of my life, including my Golden Retriever and a Lab (who passed over the Rainbow Bridge due to old age). Krista’s calm confidence is so reassuring, she isn’t afraid of any quirks a dog might have and handles them well. I loved her fun updates including pictures and videos during Link’s stay. That was most relaxed I’ve ever been while away from him (which is not easy to do). She truly cares about your dog and treats them like her own. Frequent walks, snuggles, trips to the store for treats and car rides are his favorites with Valerie. My sweet Hershey looks happy in his frequent photos!
