About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! “We took our two boys while traveling and they really enjoyed their time and I could tell they quickly warmed up to Michelle and her husband!!! My younger dog has anxiety and is nervous around men but he really bonded with them and seemed so relaxed!! They were happy when we arrived to pick them up but still went to get pets from them while chatting. She sent pictures every day and I could tell they really enjoyed their backyard every day which is their favorite place to be at home!! Their communication was great and I felt relaxed to have such a great sitter and I will definitely be using them again whenever we travel!!!”

She enjoyed walks and couch naps and Justin periodically sent picture updates. He was flexible with drop off and pick up.
