Fun fact! I once saved a duck by doing mouth-to-beak resuscitation! I’m an avid and trusted animal lover, from the smallest to the biggest varieties. Whether hairy, scaly, slimy, feathered or furry, I love them all. I have experience rehabbing pigeons, chickens and squirrels, working in an emergency vet clinic and hand rearing exotic birds. I’m patient and kind with all animals, and their humans. I’m relocating from WA to PA at the end of March 2026 and look forward to meeting new furry friends and their adoring humans!

When you contract with me to stay in your home, I’ll follow your routine as instructed. Whether your pets are shy or goofy, I’ll take the time to interact with them in an enriching way and make sure they are always safe and well cared for. For boarding in my home, I host cats in their own guest suite. I can host more than one cat from the same family, but only one family at a time.

Sandra goes the extra mile (literally too). To make sure our pets our safe, fed and happy. We have confidence when we are away that our pets are doing well!. She arrived on schedule despite a long detour due to bridge being out. Also delivered necessary medication to the vet when needed. We are grateful!
Sandra was amazing! Didn't have to worry at all! She continued to check in and send pictures/videos. Even checked in after we had gotten back open to make sure all was well.
Sandra took care of our two kittens while we are traveling. The cats immediately opened up to her, and we feel she is taking good care of them. Sandra followed our instructions on refilling the feeder, water fountain and emptying the litter robot, putting us at ease that the cats are well during our absence. She also cleaned up some messes made by the cats. We can definitely recommend her to anyone with cats.
Sandra Rae successfully introduced kitties to my Graydee Daner :) He is OBSESSED with cats now [in a good way!] She does it right! Soon to add another furry family member!
