About: Hi! I'm Bre – a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of pet-sitting experience in both NYC and Pittsburgh. I have a fairly flexible schedule — perfect for daytime walks, outdoor playtime, and evening care. My availability is generally between 8 AM and 10 PM, so I can easily accommodate a variety of routines. At the moment, I’m only offering walks and drop-in visits (no overnight stays), but I’m happy to provide multiple check-ins throughout the day to keep your pet comfortable and cared for in their own home. I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, zoom, and explore that's perfect for dogs who need to burn off some energy. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. Whether your pet needs a calm, cozy stay or a high-energy playmate, I've got them covered. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care is never an afterthought. It's woven into my whole day. I'm home the majority of the week, and on the rare occasion I do step out, I'm never gone for more than 3 hours. Your pet will always have someone present, attentive, and ready to play, cuddle, or just keep them company. No long stretches alone, ever. My home is set up thoughtfully for both dogs and cats. The layout is split-level, with cats having full run of the upstairs and dogs enjoying the main floor plus access to the fully fenced backyard — plenty of space to play, explore, and burn energy safely. The two never have to share space unless everyone is comfortable. I do have a resident calico and a German Shorthaired Pointer, both of whom are friendly and social, so I do ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals of their kind. I always offer a free meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone — pets and people — feels good about the stay before any commitment is made. My home is puppy-proofed and high-energy-dog-ready, and I have 24/7 SimpliSafe security monitoring for added peace of mind. You can expect regular photos and updates throughout every stay because you shouldn't have to wonder how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions exactly. Your routines, your rules — meal times, crate preferences, favorite toys, walking routes — I stick to all of it. About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life, and I have lots of experience with big breeds as I’ve owned three Newfoundlands and a Leonberger. I also have some experience with elderly dogs. I have assisted in training all the dogs I’ve owned, and most importantly, I love all animals! I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’ve gotten plenty of time to spend time with your doggy. I’m less available early in the day (6–9AM), but from 9AM onward I’m at the disposal of your puppy. :) I’m quite good with crate training, as well as dogs that are a bit more stubborn. I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. Mon-Thurs: any time up until 3:30pm or after 7pm Fri, Sat, Sun : free all day I am super flexible! During the summer I have a very open schedule - so we can work around it more. Once I start school again I’ll update my availability! I will treat your animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve. Everything I do, I put 110% into, and I’ll make sure your pups feel loved! Not only did she provide plenty of walks and exercise, but she also incorporated fun enrichment activities that kept Penny's mind stimulated and tail wagging. We loved getting regular updates and photos (even videos!) of all their adventures together. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Penny was in such loving hands, especially since this was the first time Penny stayed with Valerie. She treats every dog like her own, with so much patience, affection, and attention to detail. We came home to a happy pup who clearly had an amazing time. We can’t recommend Valerie highly enough and have already booked her again for two more stays! She is the best!”
