“Stuart took amazing care of my dog, Denali, while I was out of town. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. Denali loved him! I completely trust Stuart and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter.”

“Julie is great! She’s very personable, easy to talk to and I can tell she loves animals. My dog Millie was very comfortable when we left after Julie came over. She sent pictures and gave us updates while we were gone. I would not hesitate to have her come back again.”

“She was great! We have 3 big dogs and she knew how to interact with them, even our more difficult to handle one. She sent pictures and kept us up-to-date which was so nice.”

“Stephanie took excellent care of our Boy. She left our house extremely tidy and was so great with communication the entire time she was there. I highly recommend Stephanie!”

“Hunter took great care of my senior pup on relatively short notice. He seemed genuinely interested in understanding his routine and needs. My dog takes medication and has mobility issues which Hunter seemed to handle without issue. Hunter arrived on time and was responsive throughout the stay, even checking in to make sure that his original departure time still worked for me. I came home to a calm pup and a house just as clean as I left it. I will definitely book with him again!”

“Madison took great care of our dog and cat while we were away for a few days. She was easy to communicate with and detailed when we went through care instructions. We appreciated the updates and photos to know how things were going, and our animals were clearly well-cared-for. Thanks Madison!”

“Timothy did an amazing job watching gizmo. I got plenty of updates and gizmo seemed very happy and healthy when I returned home. Also left my apartment clean and tidy as well.”

“You know you have a good dog/house sitter when your neighbors who have three dogs text you this message: Hey unsolicited feedback that your dog/house sitter seems super consistent and reliable with Zoe. She’s here at the same times and overnight and walks her at the same times. Hope you’re enjoying wherever you are!!!! I’m not stalking her but just notice in my daily life. ? You will not be disappointed! The house also felt cleaner when I got home then when I left and my pup seemed very happy. Thanks Cassandra!”

“We LOVE how much Shalindra loves our dogs, and they love her! She keeps us thoroughly updated and sends plenty of pictures and videos so we know they’re doing well. She is someone who you know just adores spending time with dogs, which helps us know she’s enjoying her time with our pups, even if one of our dogs is insane haha. Highly recommend Shalindra if you want someone to truly enjoy hanging out with your pups and update you along the way.”

“Kaitlyn took care of our three kitties for an extended vacation, including pilling, cleaning, reporting on minor concerns, taking care of the house, and cleaning everything up for our return. She updated us very consistently and with pictures, which was super helpful and reassuring as this was our first trip away from them for more than 8 hours due to one of them requiring a medication every 8 hours. In addition to doing a great job, she is a delight to talk to and all of her communication from start to finish has been professional and prompt. We highly recommend Kaitlyn!”

“We've had Brooklin sit for our Dog Cosmo multiple times now. This is actually the second review that we have written for her. (See our first one on 05/24/23). We liked her a lot after the first few times she sat for us, but after many more sits, we feel even more strongly about how great she is. She has been dependable and trustworthy. She takes just as good of care of our paraplegic dog as we do. Our last trip of over a week, we didn't worry about Cosmo once. We knew that he (and our home for that matter) were in good hands. She would send us frequent updates, and text pictures and little videos of him too. All in all we can't say enough good things about Brooklyn, and would recommend her to any of our friends and family.”

“Tim is great! He is a clear and proactive communicator who asked good questions, shared updates, and kept our sensitive dog happy and relaxed (while taking good care of our home). Would definitely book Tim again.”

“John was wonderful! Very communicative, sent regular updates, and clearly cared about the well-being of our cats. He even did some extra things around the house (like watering plants) while we were away.”

About: Been a pet owner in some form since age 7, worked at a dog day care in Edmonds facility for 5 years and I am the go-to for all my friends and family for pet care when they are away. I'm very good at reading cats and dogs, adore spending time with them and love the exercise that comes with walks. I am currently a student taking night classes, I have open availability all week especially in the daytime but am open to night walks that work with my school schedule! Currently only have class Monday and Wednesday starting at 6pm. I have dog and cat sat in the past for various neighbors and friends, always respectful will spend as little or as much time as the home as you want!
“Alex was the perfect weekend buddy for our two pitbull mixes. They showed up right on time for the meet and greet, and seemed happy and patient to be around the dogs. During the pet sitting, we received several updates and dog photos which we always appreciate. We came back to our home exactly how we had left it. We would definitely book Alex again, and would recommend them to others as well!”

“Ellie was so wonderful! She was able to take my last minute booking for my cat, Miso. He had a small medical procedure before I left unexpectedly and she was able to medicate him. She sent great updates daily with pictures and left my house very clean. I will definitely use her again to take care of my sweet boy!”

“I came home to a very happy cat and clean house. This is my second time with Meghan and I will book her again when I next travel. Meghan allows me to travel worry free.”

“Joyce was a phenomenal sitter for our dogs, Jaxon and Rocky. She clearly and consistently communicated with us and sent lots of cute photos of our pups. Our dogs loved playing with her sweet dog, Ilah. She took our dogs on long walks and ensured they got lots of cuddles. She kept our house in impeccable order. I highly recommend Joyce to anyone!”

Kim was so attentive! She sent photos and texts regularly (and at reasonable times despite our different time zones), walked our very active dogs as requested, and loved on them enough to notice a very small bump on one of our dogs that we got checked out once we got home. She left our house immaculate, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. We’d absolutely hire her again!

Sara has become our go to dog sitter and we couldn’t be more pleased. This time we were out of the country so she sat for our dog for 11 days. we had tremendous peace of mind knowing our dog was in her care. she has formed a great bond with our dog and we know he is having a great time when he’s in her care. she provides regular updates, leaves our house nice and clean, and handles our dogs quirks like a true pro. thank you Sara!

We could tell coming home from our trip that our dog and cat had experienced lots of love while we were gone! Our home was well taken care of and our packages were neatly put inside. Talia was very communicative, on time, and even made sure she had our dogs favorite treats on hand when she walked through the door.

Rebecca took great care of our dog Ruby for 5 days, including giving her periodic meds and following specific feeding instructions. When unexpected things came up like a power outage & later a thunderstorm that caused Ruby anxiety, Rebecca’s communication and attention to Ruby’s needs were excellent. The periodic updates (frequency coordinated in advanced) were equally great with pictures and clear communication. Overall 5 stars!
As a former vet tech and pet-sitter, I am pretty picky when it comes to my pets. That said, Envee has been my favorite sitter in memorable history. She managed my senior dog and cat's laundry list of medications and quirks without a moment of hesitation. Despite two separate car issues, she still showed up and took my high energy pup, Sierra, on a bunch of "field trips" around town. We got a pretty low key welcome home from Sierra after she'd had so much fun. She was communicative and sent numerous photos every day. As much as I want to have Envee available whenever we need her in the future, it's only fair to share this hidden gem with other pet owners in the area. Highly recommend her to everyone 💚

We previously booked Sarah for a few short stays but this was our first overnight stay we had with her. She communicated well and was accommodating for our pups and provided pictures and updates while we were away 5 days. Our pups looked happy when we came home and our home was left clean. Would definitely recommend and will definitely have her watch our pups again! Thanks Sarah!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Boulevard Park on Rover is $77.7 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boulevard Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boulevard Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boulevard Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
