“Cassie was the perfect sitter for our pooch. She spent nine hours over two days with our dog Ginger who was never happier, but a little sullen when Cassie had to go. Cassie was punctual, totally professional and kept in close touch during her time with Ginger, sending updates and photos. We most highly recommend Cassie as the best sitter for your dog! She was a pleasure to work with.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 8. I’ve rescued baby birds and kittens off the side of the road and rehabilitated them or found them a forever home for the last few years. Keeping your pet safe and happy is my number one priority. I’m currently a full-time student studying occupational therapy. I have a second job but my schedule is pretty flexible and I usually have weekends off. I am only able to take your dogs on walks, do drop ins or stays in your home. I am staying with family during Graduate school and they have five dogs of their own.

“Andrew stayed with our 2 dogs overnight for 10 days while we were out of the country. Andrew was a great communicator and let us know how they were doing during our trip. He took them on multiple walks, doggie parks and car rides which we permitted. The dogs were very happy, and our house was in good shape upon our return. Very thankful for Andrew's service and professionalism; I highly recommend Andrew for overnight pet sitting.”

“Bella did great with both our senior dogs (who can be very needy at times). She spent a lot of time with them, and took excellent care of them and our home as if it was her own!”

“Emelia was great! She came out for a meet & greet and was very professional and patient with our hyperactive Frenchie. Great communication and she offered to pick up a refill of our dogs medication. She was very compassionate and willing to give both our dogs their medications. Would certainly book with her again! Thanks!”

“Taylor was so good with my pup! She sent me tons of pictures of my fur baby so I knew he was in good hands. When my plans changed, she was willing to stay an extra day. I definitely recommend her and will be using her again to watch my pup!”

About: Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve worked with animals in a wide range of settings, including interning at a veterinary office, volunteering with rescue organizations, fostering with my family, socializing puppies, leash training, and of course, pet sitting. I have experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including those with special needs or anxiety. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal body language and behavior. I know how to help an anxious dog feel safe, give a high-energy pup the exercise and playtime they need, and recognize when a dog is asking for space. I understand that being apart from their people can be stressful for pets, and I always prioritize creating a calm, loving, and responsive environment to help them feel secure while you’re away. Whether it’s a drop-in, walk, or overnight care, your pet will be in patient, capable hands. I’m a student on summer break working part-time, mostly on weekdays. I’m available early mornings before 7:00 am and again after 4:00 pm at the latest (though often earlier). My weekend availability varies since I occasionally visit family out of town, but when I’m in town, my weekends are wide open! I don’t offer pet care in my own home, but I’m very comfortable caring for pets in theirs. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, energy level, and communication style. Whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medication, playing fetch, or simply offering calm companionship, I aim to make your pet feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m also happy to keep up with basic home routines like bringing in the mail or watering plants if I’m house sitting.

About: I have cared for animals of all different kinds, but have the most experience with cats. Don’t be afraid to inquire about exotics or animals with special needs I am a big fan of enrichment and doing the best I can for my pets. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry, feathered, or scaly friend! I work part time on top of schoolwork so I am busy, but I have my schedule planned out far in advance. My schedule varies week to week so please inquire about specific times if you have one you’d prefer. I am happy to fit your pet’s care into my schedule! I find it important to treat each pet with an individualized approach to ensure a stress-free environment. I would love to hear all about your pet and their likes/dislikes to ensure their comfort!

“Katelyn was truly lovely! She has a wonderful disposition & our pups loved her. She took excellent care of them & respected our home. I will absolutely welcome her back any time.”

About: Along with cats and dogs I have cared for multiple reptiles such as pythons and geckos, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also in college. I’m free any time during weekends, as well as after 3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mondays 1pm-4pm and Wednesdays after 3pm. I will follow instructions given and always ask the client first before an action if unsure. Your pet will be given the best care and my utmost attention.

About: Animals are everything to me. I have had dogs in my house from the day I was born which has strengthened my understanding of each dog’s unique personalities and care. I will strive to create a safe environment for your dog to thrive. I’m in between jobs and would love to pet sit as an opportunity to make some extra money and help people out. Animals are my passion! I am dedicated to caring for every pet and their specific needs. No two pets are the same! I am incredibly flexible when it comes to care, whether your pet needs a walk, brush, playtime, or cuddles I can do it all!

About: I’ve grown up with childhood dogs of all kinds from tiny chihuahuas and mini labradoodles to big breeds like Saint Bernards. I’ve learned that every dog is different, and their care really depends on their breed, personality, and routine. I’ve helped care for my siblings’ pets, looked after cats and dogs for neighbors, and I’m confident handling different energy levels, sizes, and needs. I’m also a runner, so I love taking active dogs on longer walks, but I’m just as happy keeping older or more anxious pets company and making sure they feel safe and calm. I’m currently working two on-campus jobs this summer, but I still have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m usually available for dog walks or check ins in the mornings, late afternoons, or early evenings, depending on the day. I’m great at keeping a routine and following instructions closely, and I’ll always make sure your pet is cared for on time. I live in a quiet campus dorm that’s clean, calm, and pet-safe. There’s nothing harmful lying around, and I’m happy to let pets on the bed or bring in a dog bed if needed. It’s a simple space, but I make sure it’s comfortable and welcoming. I’ll take your pet out for regular walks and give them plenty of attention while they’re here.

Pet care is always a joy to me, as a college student I try I balance life and school the same. Although I focus on my dreams in the near future I always go back to my roots with growing up with animals it’s my passion. My own animals at home which range from a variety of large farm animals and regular domesticated animals, I have a deep respect for animals and how they feel living in their environment. I believe all animals deserve the same treatment and respect, whether that be regular feeding and walking or even just playing with toys, I love making them feel special and comfortable.

My schedule is pretty open as I am home for summer break and am available at any point throughout the day. I am a college student so I will be gone for some parts of the year, but am available when I am home for breaks. my main priority with caring for dogs is to make sure they are as happy and healthy as possible. that can look a variety of ways depending on the dog, but i prefer to offer endless snuggles and training of some sort to provide the perfect amount of stimulation.

“Maysen was absolutely amazing with our dog Moose! She kept him for over a week during Christmas and her and her family treated him like their own. Our dog had the best time playing with their dog, remy. I am so thankful that I didn’t have to worry about him while I was away. She kept us updated the whole trip and went above and beyond expectations. She even gave our dog some presents on Christmas. Would recommend Maysen to anyone!”

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

Riley M.
“I met Riley while volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center where she was employed as an Animal Care Technician. I had been wondering how I would find someone trustworthy to take care of my 13 year old cat after the pet sitter I previously had was no longer available. When I saw how responsible and caring Riley was with the sick and injured animals there, I knew I had found someone I could trust. Luckily, Riley was available and happy to take care of my cat, Squeeky, during some trips I took. It turned out Riley had an elderly cat of her own! I felt completely confident that Squeeky would be in great hands with Riley. I trust her completely to be in my home and to take excellent care of ANY animals I might have, whether they be dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, tortoises, you name it. I highly recommend Riley as a responsible and loving pet care provider. She is kind, friendly, dependable and mature. Sadly for me, she moved out of the state I live in.”

Katelyn B.Star Sitter

“Katelyn was truly lovely! She has a wonderful disposition & our pups loved her. She took excellent care of them & respected our home. I will absolutely welcome her back any time.”

Skyla G.
“I can confidently recommend Skyla as a competent pet sitter. She has had a life long love for animals and all creatures. This has led her to enter a pre-vet program in college. She has volunteered in a vet office for several summers. Skyla has cared for our dogs many times over the years. Skyla is responsible and would be an asset to this pet service.”

Abigail K.
“Abigail cared for my sweet kitty bella when we needed her most. Bella is an indoor/outdoor cat and she got into a fight with what we think is another cat or small animal. She was beaten up and had a broken jaw. After surgery, her recovery was long and she required oral medication everyday (that she absolutely hated) and constant care. Abigail stepped in multiple times to take care of Bella and always provided the best care. She was so patient with Bella and was great at keeping her entertained as she healed (Bella wasn’t allowed outside after the incident and got bored easily indoors). I’m so thankful for Abigail! She has pet sat for me many times since.”

Zujey H.
“Zujey has helped me multiple times while watching my cat, George of the Jungle. He absolutely loves her when she comes over and makes me happy knowing he is in her safe hands. She sends me pictures of my fur baby while I’m gone and tells me how he is doing. Zujey is a kind and caring person, and I can truly tell she loves watching animals.”

Colby K.
“Colby has watched my rescue Moose who is very anxious and shy. He opened up to her and felt safe enough with her to go for a walk. Truly loved her and loved how she treated my baby! Highly recommend!”

Braylee S.
“Braylee has the biggest heart for animals and is the best caregiver for them. She always speaks about animals and loves taking care of them! She will treat your animals like her own and give them the best care around!”

Angel R.

“Angel was timely, communicative, and overall the perfect pet sitter! We intend to use her services again and again. She sent lots of pictures, and took wonderful tender care of our post-op dog during his recovery.”

Claire C.
“Claire watched my two dogs for a week over Christmas. She was amazing! My girls went on multiple walks a day. She even taught them new tricks! They were so happy!! Claire really has a special bond with animals. We love having her help us.”

Maysen M.

“Maysen was absolutely amazing with our dog Moose! She kept him for over a week during Christmas and her and her family treated him like their own.
