About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. “I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. I am clean and tidy so you don't have to worry about coming home to a dirty house. I don't mind cleaning up after myself or your pet. I work full time 8-4:30. I am home on the weekend. I spend my nights and weekends with my dog so we can easily include yours as well! I have one 3 year old female dog. She is fixed, trained and won’t be a problem. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.
