About: Hello! I am Katrina. I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Recreation Management and a double minor in Non Profit Organizations and Animal Sciences. I am located in Clover, SC. I absolutely adore animals; that love started from our family dog, my yorkshire terrier, Buddy. I have a lot of different availability so definitely feel free to contact me and so we can work something out. I love meeting new people and pets. I have not only taken care of my own dog but many of my friend pets as well. In addition to that, I have experience working at a doggy daycare and grooming salon along with field experiences from school with a multitude of farm animals. I am a super quick learner and am so excited to meet many new animals. :) I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Emergency Academy Reptile, Amphibian, Avian, and Small Mammal Emergency First Aid Certified. I am looking to build my pet care experience with doing Rover along with my job. My schedule is flexible which is why I’m always open to communication, figuring out how I can help you and your pet. I will follow any instruction you give me. I am comfortable crating a dog if uncomfortable situations arise. Reading body language is something I think is super important and practice often when handling animals. Constant check ins while I am with your pet is also essential in my care.
“Savanna did a wonderful job taking care of our cat for two weeks. We really appreciated the photos and updates. Our apartment was tidy and our cat was happy and healthy when we returned. We would definitely rebook with Savanna and recommend her to friends and family.”

“Ella T was an amazing house sitter for our elderly cat, Lucy. She arrived right on time and spent plenty of quality time with our very affectionate tuxedo kitty. Ella kept us updated with lots of adorable photos of Lucy eating, playing, and of course, cuddling… Which is her favorite activity. I truly appreciate how responsible and trustworthy Ella was, especially with carrying for both Lucy and our home. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, carrying an attentive pet sitter. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Sarah was great with my pup. She came and let him out twice while we were visiting a ski resort as we were in the area on vacation. She took him on walks, played with him and spent time with him while we were away and sent pictures as well. It was nice to know he was being cared for while we were gone for the day. I would recommend Sarah for your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs & cats for years and I have been reliable for every owner I worked for. I have walked, watched, and played with all dogs & cats , and make sure they’re loved. I have also assisted in dog care such as helping one giving birth to 8 puppies! I am currently a full time student at Lipscomb University, but can work Tuesdays, Thursdays, ,Fridays and weekends. Whatever is needed I can work around! I have had a great amount of experience with dogs as I grew up surrounded by them. I can walk and play fetch for however long and if needed, just check in and let them use the bathroom! I love giving them affection and make sure they’re comfortable! I am also the biggest cat lover, and can do just about anything for and with your cat!
About: I have had at least one dog my whole life. I have pet-sit and walked dogs of my friends and neighbors for many years, specifically older dogs, that require more patience. I am currently a student at App State, and I am in Boone for the summer. I would love to come walk and spend time with your animals! I am highly flexible and attentive to the specific needs of your pets. I have no pets while in Boone so your animals will be my only commitment.
“My family and I rented a house in the mountains and wanted to all go out for dinner but needed somebody to come in for a couple of hours and sit with our dog. Found Rachel she was a godsend! The whole transaction through Rover was fabulous. She was punctual, caring, loving, and above all actually brought homemade sourdough bread for us! I cannot recommend her enough. Thanks again, Rachel!”

About: “I’ve had dogs as companions since I was a child, and they’ve always been cherished members of my family. I treat every animal in my care like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” “Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not just a job, but something I truly love. Living in the Appalachian mountains has taught me the value of a calm, grounded lifestyle, and I bring that same peaceful energy into the care I provide. I treat every pet like family and pay close attention to their unique personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, elderly, or needing extra comfort while you’re away. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home in my care.” “I care for every pet with the same attentiveness and love that I give my own children. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I work hard to create a calm, dependable environment where pets feel secure and cared for.
About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.
About: I have grown up with dogs I currently have two of my own. I have also been a certified veterinary assistant for almost two years, so you dogs will be in great hands. I am a full time student at Lees McRae College so my schedule varies, but I do not have class on Tuesday or Thursday as of this semester. In my apartment I care for my dogs with two meals a day and play time when I’m home as well as playtime outside in the fenced in dog area.

About: Hello! I am excited to take care of your sweet pupperoni and treat your pet like mine! I have experience with caring for dogs and cats. I have experience pet sitting for up to three weeks and will be happy to provide references upon request. My dog has epilepsy so caring for a pet with special needs is something I can do. I can care for dogs who are deaf, blind, are prone to seizures, require regular medication, and more. I am available more in the summer since but do teach full time during the school year! If I come to your home to sit, I have to bring my sweet pupper with me but what a great play date that would be! I am excited to have the opportunity to pet sit for you! I promise to treat your dog like I treat my own!

Angel was amazing with our girls 🐶🐶. My old girl has limited vision and requires patience and my little girl can be timid. Angel came and met them before the scheduled appointment and asked about them and what needed to be done. When I came home they were both happy, and well taken care of. I also loved all the pictures she took of them.

Caroline proactively set up a meet and greet with us prior to babysitting our puppy which gave us a lot of comfort leaving her our first time. I appreciate that she stayed longer than required to keep our puppy company I recommend Caroline. She’s a responsible and kind person.

Hayleigh has taken excellent care of our 2-month-old puppy several times. She takes extra time playing and walking with our baby. She communicates well and consistently. She even brought our mail and packages inside during her most recent visit. Highly recommend!

Ava was amazing with my two babies! We were just in town for the weekend for an.App State game and had an Airbnb. Her communication before/during/after was the best! She was so attentive and took great care of my old fella (almost 14) and my super needy hound dog mix. I wish she lived in my town and I would have her babysit more often ! I couldn't be happier or have asked for anyone better.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
