About: From the moment I was born I have had dogs. Taking care of dogs and animals my entire life, from brand new puppies to senior pups has been a gift. Between my own, and being the go to pet sitter for friends & family, I have a deep knowledge of how to care for your furry friends. I am comfortable with meeting your pets where they are whether that’s a friendly and people loving pup, or more anxious, or reactive. There’s no doubt that we’ll get along! I’m a part time barista, full time animal lover. I have a car and am around all day parts to check in on or walk your furry friends. My current apartment doesn’t allow pets, so all the care will be in your home where your fur baby is most familiar! Check ins, hangouts, or walking available!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs & cats for years and I have been reliable for every owner I worked for. I have walked, watched, and played with all dogs & cats , and make sure they’re loved. I have also assisted in dog care such as helping one giving birth to 8 puppies! I am currently a full time student at Lipscomb University, but can work Tuesdays, Thursdays, ,Fridays and weekends. Whatever is needed I can work around! I have had a great amount of experience with dogs as I grew up surrounded by them. I can walk and play fetch for however long and if needed, just check in and let them use the bathroom! I love giving them affection and make sure they’re comfortable! I am also the biggest cat lover, and can do just about anything for and with your cat!

About: Not only do I get along well with animals, I also understand the importance of being a great pet sitter. For me it’s about going above or beyond whether it’s sitting with the pet to ease their nerves that their owner is gone or taking them on their favorite adventure (my dog Gus loves to swim in creeks)! In addition, taking care of the home while the pet owner is away is a essential to my beliefs around pet sitting such as bringing in the mail or washing out water bowls. I am currently a student at Appalachian State getting my master certification in GIS. When I am not in class, I am looking to take care of your furry friend! While I have pets of my own in my home that does not allow me to care for pets in my own home, I care for pets in my client’s home by adapting to their pet owners needs and making it a smooth and reliable process!

About: I have experience taking care of both cats and dogs. I have had my own cat for 6 years and took in my family senior dog for two years before she passed. I volunteered for ~80 hours at an Orange County Animal Services as a dog walker. I also received additional training at the shelter to walk and handle more aggressive and shy dogs. I am starting App State’s graduate Speech-Language Pathology program mid-August. I am currently finishing up some summer classes, but have a lot of availability for the rest of the summer! :) I care for pets on an individual basis. When volunteering at an animal shelter, I learned a lot about an animal’s body language and used that to gauge a pet’s comfortability. I love taking care of pets that like affection, but I am able to recognize which pets are open to that.

About: I have two family dogs of my own ages 8 and 7. Beyond caring for these two, I have walked a golden retriever occasionally for a while and assisted with neighbor care of other dogs. I am currently a full time employee, but beyond my work I am more than happy to come play and walk your fur baby! While I work a traditional 8-5, I am happy to come by on my lunch break and after work. I am happy to bring your dog around town for a good walk. I am also happy to just walk them in your neighborhood and play with your dog for extended time depending on the day of the week.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

About: I’ve had two family dogs in my life who have taught me a lot about taking care of pets. I have plenty of practice with safely walking dogs, cleaning up after them, and everything else involved in keeping furry friends happy! Prior to joining Rover, I’ve assisted various family friends with the care of their pets and am excited to meet more pets and their families! I have classes all day every Monday and Wednesday, but other than that my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m happy to work with you on the best time of day for me to care for your pups! I’m able to vary specific care based on what each pet is used to in their home. My dog has a lot of anxiety so I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable! I’d love to discuss specifics with pet owners to ensure all your needs will be met.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I take the time to get to know each pet so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, reliable hands. As a college student, I don’t have the time to have a pet of my own right now, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with animals while helping other pet owners. I genuinely enjoy caring for pets, whether that means going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I love being able to give pets the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I also make sure their home stays clean and secure while they’re away. If I care for a pet in my own home, I’ll provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they receive plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection.

About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: Pet care is my full time job, so I have open availability! I am also a proud owner of a fully trained German Shepard. I’m open to doing dog walking/playtime, day sitting and overnights! I’m a full time student graduating in criminal justice with bachelor degree this coming summer 2027 who is responsible and dependable. All prices are negotiable depending on the needs. I’ve been a pet lover and caretaker since I was 10 years old. I’m 22 yrs old now and a proud owner of a 5 yr old German Shepherd who is fully trained. I believe all animals deserve one on one attention, care, & Love. I care for pets by making sure their basic needs are met first. Along with assuring each pet is happy and are enjoying their time with me. So much that I want them to be excited with just hearing my name. About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. During the summer (till mid August) I will be spending large amounts of time either in your home or taking care of pets as the larger portion of my day and night. During the school year, I will be able to provide intensive attention after normal work hours, and rich weekend experiences for your pets. My availability during the different holiday breaks like Spring and Christmas break are much like the summer. I will be sure to respect and follow any instructions given to a tee and deliver prompt communication throughout the entire process.
