“She went above and beyond for me when I had car trouble and couldn’t be back the day that I had planned on coming back home! She was super flexible and very understanding. I genuinely appreciated it. I don’t know what I would have done without her. 10/10, 5 STARS, I would recommend! My animals all loved her and she was very thoughtful and communicative. 😊👏”

“Alyssa was a great sitter! She stopped by my place for a few drop in visits to check in on my cat Lady. She kept her company while also feeding and dealing with the litter. Sent update pictures of Lady while I was gone. Great experience and will hire Alyssa again.”

“Savannah is amazing! My timid pup is loving her and she is thorough and on time! This is my first time using Rover and I am thrilled. I love the pictures and messages. Outstanding service!”

“Fantastic experience! Alexa went above and beyond taking care of Baxter over the Fourth of July weekend. We appreciated the updates, photos, and the extra care she gave him.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9. My family has 2 senior yorkies, a pit bull, and a pit-mix. I also have had an Aussie-border collie since he was 2 weeks old, and he has been my saving grace through college. I have a beautiful cat as well, and he has been my baby since 2021, when he was 6 months old. I would love to be of service for your fur babies! I’m currently a graduate student and looking to work as much as possible between classes and during the summer. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my schedule, and I’d love to give your fur babies the attention and care they deserve! When I care for pets in your home, I treat them as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away. I’ll stick to their routine as much as possible, whether it's feeding, walks, or playtime, so they feel secure. I’m also attentive to any special needs they may have, from medications to behavioral preferences. Your home will be in good hands. I'll clean up after the pets, ensure they have plenty of exercise, and provide lots of love and attention. You can rest easy knowing your pets are in a familiar environment, well taken care of, and loved!
“Natasha is a wonderful sitter. This is our second time using her and our pups absolutely love her coming over. Always such a blessing having her come check on our dogs when out.”

About: I've helped take care of neighbors and friends dogs many times since I was a kid up into college. I have always had a dog of my own and understand the importance of being able to get some help to watch them when needed! I am currently in Grad school and do have a hectic schedule. But I have mostly every Friday free and time in the afternoons on Saturdays and mornings on Sundays for drop ins! I am in an apartment but have a fenced in area behind it that I let my dog run in! My dog is typically free range at all times in my apartment but can be crated when needed. He is very friendly with other dogs. Typically I just ask what the normal routine is for the dog I am watching because I know everyone does their own thing a little different!

About: I have had a passion for taking care of animals my whole life. I have been pet sitting for my friends and family for about 3 years now! I have dealt with animals of all ages, and have experience with animals that require medications be given to them. I also have experience with fish and guinea pigs. I love all animals and do everything in my power to take the best care of them possible! I currently have open availability, so I will have more than enough of time to play and care for your animals! I can check in on them multiple times a day!! I will let your dogs outside to use the bathroom, clean your cat’s litter box, play and cuddle with them, and make sure their food and water bowels stay clean.
“I'm new to the area and no longer have my best friend to cat sit. I wanted to travel to spend Christmas with family so turned to Rover. I felt confident leaving them in Ken's care even before I left. He lives up to his rating!”
“Jennifer was outstanding. Came by for a quick meet & greet before the single day service. Was even available on short notice. Book with confidence that she'll take good care of your fur-baby.”

“She was INCREDIBLE!!! So many pictures, very communicative, helped me when I was in need of a last minute drop in. My dog looked like she had a great time. I will definitely use her again.”

“If I could give Megan 10 stars I would! She took such great care of our mini pig. She always came to our house on time and provided great updates and pictures. She is dependable and really loves animals. Would highly recommend her!”

“Kaylee is an AWESOME sitter. She is so great with my dogs Buckets and Hope and I absolutely appreciate her work and efforts. I will definitely book her again for future needs. :)”

About: For the majority of 2020 I was working at an animal sanctuary with more than 60 dogs and 30 cats. My duties included feeding, cleaning, walking the animals. I also maintained their enclosures and of course played with them! I work part time at Hachimi, but would prefer taking care of some doggos. Tuesday and Thursday nights I have class , other than that I have a pretty open schedule. I live by the tweetsie and love to walk my dogs on it. Or they like going out of town for some hiking by the lake or in the mountains ⛰

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
