About: Hi! My name is Morgan, and I am a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all types, sizes, and personalities. I grew up surrounded by animals as my mom owned a pet store, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently help care for my sister’s and my cat, Stormy, and recently said goodbye to our senior Yorkie, Lola, who taught me so much about gentle and attentive senior care. I’m a go-to pet sitter for my friends and family, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs playtime, structured walks, medication, or simply a calm and caring presence, I’m here to make sure they can get whatever they need while you’re away. I graduated from Appalachian State University in December and currently work at a nonprofit art gallery in Boone. My schedule there is Tuesday through Thursday, which leaves me available most Mondays, Fridays, and weekends for pet care. I’d love to use my free time to help care for your pets! I am available for daily walks, drop-in visits, including providing food and fresh water, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I provide attentive and reliable care that fits your pet’s specific routine and personality. During walks, I prioritize safety and engagement, making sure your pet gets the right balance of exercise and enrichment. I’m attentive to leash manners, surroundings, weather conditions, and your pet’s comfort level. If your dog loves long, energetic walks or prefers a slower stroll, I will tailor each outing to their needs. I also understand that pets thrive on consistency, so I do my best to follow your usual schedule and household routines to help them feel secure while you’re away.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I have cared for dogs and cats for family, friends, and pet owners who trust me to provide reliable, loving care. I enjoy keeping pets active, comfortable, and happy through walks, playtime, cuddles, and consistent routines. Previously owning a senior dog, I have firsthand experience providing attentive care for aging pets and understand the patience, consistency, and compassion they require. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their time away from their owners as stress free and enjoyable as possible. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I enjoy spending my free time with animals. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand the importance of consistency and communication, and I am committed to making sure your pet receives attentive care and plenty of love while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs to ensure they feel secure and well cared for. As an owner of a senior dog, I have experience caring for pets of all ages and understand the patience and attention some animals require. Whether in your home or on a walk, I will treat your pet like family and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I have cared from chronically ill dogs, puppies, senior, and aggressive animals. I am willing to put in the effort to come to a solution that works for both of us! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable visits, walks, drop-ins, or overnight care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals, so I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection while sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I’m committed to being dependable, communicative, and making sure every pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I always tailor my care to each pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home, I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise and playtime, and give them plenty of affection and attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and organized, and prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. I have my own cat who I take care of but I love to spend time with any animal I care for making sure they get enough socialization in addition to any feeding or cleaning they might need.
“I highly recommend Emerson. She walked my one-year-old Golden Retriever Jackson 3x a day for a week. When she came for her initial visit, I could immediately tell she was an animal lover and would treat Jackson as if he were her own dog. I also instantly saw how comfortable and confident she was walking a larger, energetic puppy – she had complete control. Throughout the week, she was incredibly prompt, professional and reliable. She gave regular, detailed and fun updates throughout the week. I could not recommend her more highly.”

About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. Due to this, my schedule is constantly changing so my calander on rover isn’t always accurate, but I try to be as flexible as I can :) Owners are guaranteed to receive multiple pictures of the their pet(s) while in my care. I will follow the instructions given and always ask the owner first before an action if unsure.
About: I have two family dogs of my own ages 8 and 7. Beyond caring for these two, I have walked a golden retriever occasionally for a while and assisted with neighbor care of other dogs. While I work a traditional 8-5, I am happy to come by on my lunch break and after work. I am happy to bring your dog around town for a good walk. I am also happy to just walk them in your neighborhood and play with your dog for extended time depending on the day of the week.

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was young. I would get paid to walk dogs and to check on cats and fish. I love hanging out with all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
