About: I have always been a HUGE dog lover. I was raised with dogs and there has never been a time where my family has not had a dog. In 2020 I started my own pet sitting business back home and accumulated over 100 clients. My business offers walks, drop-ins, training, overnight care, baths, and more! I have taken care of puppies, teens, middle-aged, and senior dogs. I have taken care of dogs with special needs and medical issues like diabetes. I started riding horses when I was 7 years old so there is no dog too big or too small! I take care of each and every dog like they are my own and I absolutely love my job. About: I have taken care of pets off and on since I was 8, and I grew up with two family puppies. I also dog sat for my entire neighborhood until I graduated high school. In college, I have taken care of my friend’s and relative’s dogs! I just got my first personal dog, and I adore her. Her name is Lorelai, like Gilmore Girls, because my mom and I grew up watching the show together. About: I have been pet sitting for families around my neighborhood since I was 12 years old. I am a sophmore at Appalachian State University and looking for some side jobs! I am a fully time college student with a pretty flexible schedule. I have 2 classes each day from 930am to 315pm with a gap in between. I am able to follow whatever instructions are given to me by the pet owner. I handle other peoples animals with love, patience, and care.

I am a graduate of (ABC) Animal Behavior College's Dog Obedience Instructor Program, and I am now offering my services of dog dog walking & drop-ins with options for basic obedience training. I originally came to Boone to attend Appalachian State University, where I received my BFA in Graphic Design in 2004, pursuing that career full-time for 15 years, before expanding my horizons to various other fields including event management, administrative work, and dog training. My flexible schedule allows for day or night dog walking/sitting, weekdays and weekends. *IF THERE IS A DATE THAT IS LISTED AS UNAVAILABLE THAT YOU NEED PET CARE, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE. SOMETIMES I AM AVAILABLE FOR A PORTION OF THE DAY, EVEN IF I THE CALENDAR SAYS UNAVAILABLE.* I currently work from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. Generally I am available, with the exception of the month of May, as well as mid-August through mid-September, although this schedule may vary from year-to-year. I typically accept up to two to three dogs at a time for walking/sitting. When not under supervision, or at night, I require that dogs in my care must be boarded in crates. Crate time is kept to a minimum, and is solely used for the safety of the dog. Enrichment time is provided at intervals throughout the day in the form of walks, play time, optional training sessions, and more. Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccines or titers results. I generally request meeting the owners with their dogs before the first time dog sitting.

About: I have two family dogs of my own ages 8 and 7. Beyond caring for these two, I have walked a golden retriever occasionally for a while and assisted with neighbor care of other dogs. I am currently a full time employee, but beyond my work I am more than happy to come play and walk your fur baby! While I work a traditional 8-5, I am happy to come by on my lunch break and after work. I am happy to bring your dog around town for a good walk. I am also happy to just walk them in your neighborhood and play with your dog for extended time depending on the day of the week.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was born! I mainly handle big dogs, but I have experience with smaller breeds and cats as well! I am a student and I work a part-time job, but I have plenty of breaks in between classes and work to care for your animals! I am also available on most weekends. I care for your pets in your home by maintaining their normal routine, food, water, play, litter care, and lots of attention, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away!

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Over the years, I've cared for multiple families' dogs, taking them on walks and spending quality time playing with them. It is very important to me that each animal receives the love and care that you give them, whether that is a little more patience, or that extra comfort your old friend needs. I currently work part-time but plan on picking this up as my primary job. I am available most days, and I can work a maximum of 5 days a week. My schedule is flexible and allows me to give your fur babies the time they deserve. I offer pet care at your house, where your pet can stay comfortable and relaxed in their own environment, making sure they follow their usual routine. About: I have been dog sitting since I was 14 for my neighbors, friends, and family. I have cared for a wide rage of small and large dogs- including energetic puppies and calm adult dogs. I try to stay active on a day to day basis so I am comfortable with daily walks of any duration! I am also comfortable with feeding, administering basic medications, and keeping pets on a consistent schedule to help them feel safe and relaxed. What makes me stand out as a sitter is my patience, reliability, and focus when I am completing a task. I’m mature, grounded, and able to adapt to whatever a situation requires. At home, I have a fenced in yard where my pets are able to roam around freely. I feed, play, and take care of my animals with diligence and would not hesitate to do the same with someone else’s. Although at school, I live in an apartment where I do not have pets. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I’m attentive, responsible, and committed to providing comfortable space for any pet!

About: I’m a junior at Appalachian State University in the Veterinary Technology program, and I’ve been caring for animals for years through school, work, and hands-on training. I worked at a veterinary clinic during my freshman and sophomore years of college, and my senior year of high school I completed a veterinary internship in Charleston, SC. My high school also had a vet program, so I spent a lot of time learning proper handling, husbandry, and everyday pet care. I am also Fear Free Certified, which means I’m trained to recognize stress signals and use low-stress handling so pets feel safe and comfortable in my care. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, medicate, and care for their pets, and I love giving animals the patience, attention, and compassion they deserve. My classes are all online, so I have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. When I am not in school mode, I spend some of my time at my part-time job at a clothing store on King Street. This still leaves plenty of open space in my schedule for pet care. One thing about me is that I am always willing to adjust my schedule whenever you need, and it truly is never a bother. I also have an anxious puppy of my own, so I understand how important consistency, patience, and routine can be. I am happy to work around whatever helps your pet feel safe and comfortable. Your pet’s comfort and emotional well-being matter a lot to me. I am Fear Free Certified and trained in low-stress handling, so I take things at the pace your pet prefers and pay close attention to their signals. Since I have an anxious dog myself, I understand how important it is to create a calm and understanding environment. I follow every pet’s routine carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, and enrichment, so they feel secure and cared for. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! About: I have owned a dog since I was 6 and taken care of him, I have started my own pet business since I was 10 and have had several people recommend me to other people. ’m a Biology major at Appalachian State University with plans to become a doctor. I’m passionate about helping both people and animals, and I pride myself on being reliable, hardworking, and caring. Having played sports my whole life, I bring plenty of energy and athleticism—so you can trust your pet will get a fun, active, and safe walking experience. I care for my own dog every day, walking him three times and feeding him twice. Since he’s older, he needs a little extra attention—such as medication administration and help with mobility—which has given me valuable experience supporting senior pets. I make sure he feels safe, comfortable, and loved through playtime and companionship.
