“I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. Seeing that I have limited mobility, Catlin asked if there were other things she could do to be helpful.. I admire her initiative and appreciated her help. About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. I have my own cat who I take care of but I love to spend time with any animal I care for making sure they get enough socialization in addition to any feeding or cleaning they might need.

About: I currently have 12 dogs of all sizes, I love being around dogs and feel confident in my ability to handle any size or breed. I've worked around animals for over 6 years including at a dog grooming salon and animal hospital so I can bathe and brush any pup (or cat) who needs it as well as provide basic medical care needs. I am currently in school as a senior at ASU so I do have to work around my classes, however I will be as flexible as I can with your pets needs! I currently live in an apartment so I cannot house animals, however I am more than happy to drop in on your babies or take them for a walk! When I am with your pets I will do whatever they need in order to make them feel happy and comfortable!

About: My family and I have fostered dogs and cats for the last 12 years. Through this I have gained valuable experience with working with a variety of dog breeds. Although, my experience goes beyond this as my love for animals is one of my greatest traits. While working pastime at a childcare facility, I have enough time throughout the day to check on your pet, let them out for a potty break, or just keep them company! Depending if I have any other activities or events to attend to, I’m pretty much free all the time. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. For the dogs, we have a large, fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run and play. All of our dogs have leashes and collars to ensure safety for us and our pets. As for the cats, they each have their own litter box which is scooped daily and their own food bowls.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. Due to this, my schedule is constantly changing so my calander on rover isn’t always accurate, but I try to be as flexible as I can :) Owners are guaranteed to receive multiple pictures of the their pet(s) while in my care. I will follow the instructions given and always ask the owner first before an action if unsure.

About: Hello! I am Katrina. I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Recreation Management and a double minor in Non Profit Organizations and Animal Sciences. I am located in Clover, SC. I absolutely adore animals; that love started from our family dog, my yorkshire terrier, Buddy. I have a lot of different availability so definitely feel free to contact me and so we can work something out. I love meeting new people and pets. I have not only taken care of my own dog but many of my friend pets as well. In addition to that, I have experience working at a doggy daycare and grooming salon along with field experiences from school with a multitude of farm animals. I am a super quick learner and am so excited to meet many new animals. :) I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR certified and Pet Emergency Academy Reptile, Amphibian, Avian, and Small Mammal Emergency First Aid Certified. I am looking to build my pet care experience with doing Rover along with my job. My schedule is flexible which is why I’m always open to communication, figuring out how I can help you and your pet. I will follow any instruction you give me. I am comfortable crating a dog if uncomfortable situations arise. Reading body language is something I think is super important and practice often when handling animals. Constant check ins while I am with your pet is also essential in my care.

Nothing is more important to me than your dog getting to experience fun in a safe environment. I’m a senior at Appalachian State, and my class schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week, including days when I only have one or two classes. I have a dog of my own, so potty breaks, walks, and getting outside are already a big part of my everyday routine—and I’d love for your dog to join us! I especially love long walks, trips to the dog park, and finding fun ways for dogs to get their energy out while getting plenty of attention along the way. About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was younger. I would get paid to walk dogs around my neighborhood and to check on cats. I love hanging out and loving on all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I treat and love your pets as if they are my own! You can expect the best care and love for your pets when you book with me! I love to send tons of pictures to pet parents to ease their minds when they are away from their fur babies! Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!

About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. During the summer (till mid August) I will be spending large amounts of time either in your home or taking care of pets as the larger portion of my day and night. During the school year, I will be able to provide intensive attention after normal work hours, and rich weekend experiences for your pets. My availability during the different holiday breaks like Spring and Christmas break are much like the summer. I will be sure to respect and follow any instructions given to a tee and deliver prompt communication throughout the entire process.
