About: Hi! I am no stranger to walks, accidents or muddy paws! I have one rescue dog of my own, Aarya, who is more than just family to me. I am more than happy to take care of your pup while you’re away! Please note, I do not provide services in my home. I can do drop-in visits or stay at your house while you’re away. I also do not mind negotiating prices that work better for you! I am currently a student at Appalachian State University. My schedule is pretty flexible so I am available to come & go as needed! If times are tight, I will let you know in advance. I'm happy to take dogs for walks, let them run and play in the backyard while supervised, crate them if needed, and keep up with their regular feeding schedule. I will make sure they get plenty of bathroom breaks, attention, and care while you're away! :)

About: I have had pets all of my life so they are no stranger to me, and I have taken care of my neighbors pets for the past years. I am a division 1 runner at Appalachian state university for the cross country and track team. So I would say I’m pretty accountable. I am currently not working any other jobs so pet care fits very easily into my schedule and routine throughout the day and weeks for me. I have fenced in yard, and for exercise and for walks my pet is always on a leash when I take him for walks in the neighborhood.

About: I have been taking care of all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, etc, for 10+ years, and would love to meet yours! Earned CVA license after 300 hours of veterinary internship. I am currently a college student at Appalachian State University, so as long as my course schedule does not interfere with pet care, I am available! I care for my clients pets like they are my own, and do everything that is asked of me and more. I update my clients on their pet (with pictures) very often while they are away from them.

About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. I have my own cat who I take care of but I love to spend time with any animal I care for making sure they get enough socialization in addition to any feeding or cleaning they might need.

About: I have two family dogs of my own ages 8 and 7. Beyond caring for these two, I have walked a golden retriever occasionally for a while and assisted with neighbor care of other dogs. I am currently a full time employee, but beyond my work I am more than happy to come play and walk your fur baby! While I work a traditional 8-5, I am happy to come by on my lunch break and after work. I am happy to bring your dog around town for a good walk. I am also happy to just walk them in your neighborhood and play with your dog for extended time depending on the day of the week.

About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. Due to this, my schedule is constantly changing so my calander on rover isn’t always accurate, but I try to be as flexible as I can :) Owners are guaranteed to receive multiple pictures of the their pet(s) while in my care. I will follow the instructions given and always ask the owner first before an action if unsure.

About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. During the summer (till mid August) I will be spending large amounts of time either in your home or taking care of pets as the larger portion of my day and night. During the school year, I will be able to provide intensive attention after normal work hours, and rich weekend experiences for your pets. My availability during the different holiday breaks like Spring and Christmas break are much like the summer. I will be sure to respect and follow any instructions given to a tee and deliver prompt communication throughout the entire process. About: I've been loving my cat and dog for a good 15 years, and have plenty of love for your babies too! I'm comfortable administering meds and caring for older animals. From my volunteering, I can handle many temperaments. I'm confident in walking a good few miles as well. About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets.
