About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. I have my own cat who I take care of but I love to spend time with any animal I care for making sure they get enough socialization in addition to any feeding or cleaning they might need.

Growing up, I was always surrounded by furry friends, and that passion has only grown since then. I believe every walk is an adventure, and I love to play and have fun with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will get plenty of exercise, love, and attention while they’re with me. I will also treat your dog with the same love I give to my own family. My schedule is pretty relaxed especially now being summer so I will have much time to care for your pet's needs practically all day if necessary! I have been taking care of my own dogs for years and will be able to ensure that they are safely kept inside/outside during the day and in their proper sleeping quarters for night.

About: I have worked in small animal rescue for years now, and while I’m a full time student I hope to care for your pets! Specifically, I have worked in dog and cat socialization, diet preparation, and healthcare. I am able to clean up after your pet, walk them, play with them, feed them, and administer medications! I am a full-time student, so while I am busy, it is very flexible and on my terms! I spend lots of time outdoors and have many pet-loving friends I know the ins and outs of pet care, and I think that supporting our pets is our most important job! I can perform most essential tasks necessary, and feel very comfortable caring for pets.

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was young. I would get paid to walk dogs and to check on cats and fish. I love hanging out with all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!

About: Since I was 11, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, horses and more! I have 2 dogs of my own. I would love to help on the weekends when I’m available! I may be able to help some weekday nights. I work full time so I couldn’t commit to anything outside of that. My pets at home are walked daily and enjoy playing together. They are friendly with all dogs and are up to date on vaccines and vet visits.

About: Retired from workforce, former military, active person, daily walks with our dogs—neighborhood, parks, trails. Worked with certified dog trainer for our two dogs. Time on my hands. I am retired and have plenty of time when not playing with our own two dogs and exercising. They are the center of our lives. We have a fenced in back yard for our dogs. Since I am retired, and my wife works part time, I spend most of my time with our dogs. We will not bring client’s pets to our home nor will my wife be a caretaker.

About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed. I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. About: I have two family dogs of my own ages 8 and 7. Beyond caring for these two, I have walked a golden retriever occasionally for a while and assisted with neighbor care of other dogs. I am currently a full time employee, but beyond my work I am more than happy to come play and walk your fur baby! While I work a traditional 8-5, I am happy to come by on my lunch break and after work. I am happy to bring your dog around town for a good walk. I am also happy to just walk them in your neighborhood and play with your dog for extended time depending on the day of the week.

From my volunteering, I can handle many temperaments. I'm confident in walking a good few miles as well. I'm currently working part-time, and its the summer so Im out of school and have plenty of time to dedicate to your babies! I'm officially only unavailable on Tuesdays from 4-6. I'm a morning bird and night owl! I have a fenced in yard with an older pup and a calm older kitty. It's just my Mom and I at home, so a calm, quiet environment.
