About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs. Puppies, kittens, and senior animals are welcome. I am familiar with basic first aid and am familiar with the body language of most dogs. I do work full time during the week so weekends and non-business hours are best for me. I can easily serve the Catawba County area. I have reliable transportation. I am also available on most federal holidays. I'm happy to provide photos delivered electronically for each visit. I am clean and you can trust that your pets and welfare of your home are my top priority.

About: I have owned and cared for just about any domestic animal you can think of, from dogs and cats of every size to lizards, frogs and even cows! I enjoy playing and training or just cuddling and providing reassurance and support for animals who may need a little extra TLC. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats and each day after work we do outside play time, brain games and then some cuddles before bed. I understand that in this day and age there are many people who work late who may not be able to provide that type of care for their animals later in the day and I am looking to help in that area! With any animal it is important to know that they all have their own personalities and some may be outgoing but not all are and that is okay! I would love to spend time working together through training, or just spending quality time with your animal to build a trusting, happy relationship. I want them to be excited for visits and look as forward to them as I would!

About: I am a very dependable person, I have a dog myself. Enjoy walking and loving on the animals. Live locate in the Hickory area, local I work part time Monday-Thursday from 5-11 and have plenty of time for your animals. Can stay at your place go back and forth. I have a dog and he is very laid back I have a fence at my Condo and walk my dog every day if not twice. The pets would be very safe where I live

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

About: Although I'm new to the Rover platform, I've loved, raised, and cared for dogs (ranging in size from 10 to 90+ pounds, and of all ages) all of my life, and cats for years. I've employed others to care for our animals when we're away, so I know what level of care and communication clients expect. I know it's important for you to know that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence. Communication is a priority for me. I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease and for your pet to feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away. I am a retired school teacher, so my schedule is flexible, and I can take the time to get to know each pet's individual personality, preferences, and routine. I've lived in this area for more than 30 years. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting you and providing a safe, positive experience for your furry family member! I am a (young and energetic) retiree, so my schedule can accommodate your needs. I am available every day of the week and can visit (feed, walk, play with, etc.) your pet(s) up to three times a day. You know your pet(s) best, so I will care for them exactly as you instruct me to. As a career educator, I'd compare my services to those of a good substitute teacher: you'll communicate the plan, and I'll faithfully carry it out. I'll send you regular updates while you're away. I love and genuinely enjoy spending time with all animals, and I understand how much you especially love your pet(s). Above all, that will inform the care I provide.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience training dogs and of course caring for dogs full time! I have raised my dogs from puppies until the end of their time ! I have a part time job working at a gym but it is flexible and i will be able to give the dog the care it needs. I make sure your dog is loved and cared for throughout the entirety of my time with it. I will walk it as needed and give it all the love and attention as well!

About: Hi! I am Alanie, I hope to meet you and your (fur) baby soon! Here is a little more about me: I have owned animals my entire life. While I am partial to dogs, I am my friend's cat's favorite auntie. To know more about me as someone providing care for your pet, it is important that you know about mine! Athena (also answers to Wiggle Butt, Feenie Weenie, and Miss Afeenz) is my ultimate side-kick. She is truly the highlight of my day and I treat her as family (because she is!). Through having Athena, I know the love of a pet parent. There is nothing I would not do to make sure she is safe, happy, and healthy. I do not trust her with just anyone, therefore I completely understand the trust and bravery it takes allowing someone else to care for your (fur) baby. Your pets will be treated with the same love and care that I give my own Athena, because that is what I would want from anyone watching her. <3 Aside from caring for Athena, I have cared for several dogs (and cats alike!) for overnight care when parents are out of town, daily walks, feeding schedules, and plenty of pets and playtime. I have experience supporting the puppy training process and am happy to care for puppers and kittens alike. I currently work 8-5pm, however, can provide potty breaks and play time with flexibility throughout the day. Additionally, I am happy to provide early morning walks, evening walks, and overnight stays to ensure your family member can relax at home while you're away. Please note, I am only able to accept weekday bookings for dogs that can be left unattended for at least 4 hours at a time. Throughout the weekend, I am more flexible and can be present with your fur baby and all their needs. My services would be best suited for someone who works overnights or odd schedules that want extra support at home through serving kibble dinner, evening strolls, play time and belly rubs, as well as overnight stays. I am also able to provide weekend care. Planning a beach trip this summer? Don't worry about your furry friends. I am happy to provide overnight care as long as your baby can stay home throughout the day for at least 4 hours without a potty break. If you have any questions about whether your needs would be a good fit with my availability, please feel free to message me. At this time, I am offering care in the pet's home environment. This is easiest for both myself and your fury friend - there's no place like home! I am happy to keep your pet's daily/weekly schedule as closely followed as possible. Walks around the neighborhood? Let's go. Fenced in yard for ample ball time? Happy to do so! If your pet is typically crated throughout the day, I can also assist with this. I am also used to and happy to allow your pet to free roam with as much (or as little) supervision as they are used to having when Mom and Dad are home. I can also provide light routine grooming (brushing, etc) depending on your pet's needs while you're away. I am also happy to provide other typical daily needs (feeding, providing medication, etc). Just let me know how best to serve your pet in their environment and we can make it happen. They won't even notice you're not home! (just kidding).

About: Reliable and detailed oriented! I will get to know their personal needs , personality, and what works for them! Your pets second favorite human lol I am a body piercer. I work 10 minutes away from my home. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.

About: I've taken care of my own two chihuahua for over 10 years. Always made sure they fed well and treated right. We enjoy time walking around parks and town. I'm part time in college student and employed and I have plenty of time in my hand. What do i enjoy doing in my spare time more than a nice walking during my fav season Fall with the windy breeze on a sunny day. I make sure dogs don't get into fights or start barking at other pets near them by picking them up or going a different direction. I will be taking pictures of the dog to the owner to insure trust and loyalty.

About: I’ve grown up fostering and owning all sort of animals! From bottle feeding puppies to raising abandoned birds, I’ve done it. I’ve been known to bond with animals who have been considered “grumpy” or “solitary”, too. I have experience taking care of a wide range of animals as well and look forward to taking care of yours! My schedule is wide open so fitting pet care in will be my top priority whether you want me to come to you or if you want to leave your pet in my care. I do daily walks and dog park runs with my pup and would be happy to do the same with yours! My home is open concept with plenty of room to play and I have a large couch if that’s more your pets speed. I am highly detail oriented so if I’m visiting your pet at home, I’ll make sure they get exactly the care you’re looking for. You’ll also receive lots of pictures when your pet is in my care!
