About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 15 years, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their dogs as if they were my own. I’m experienced with leash training, giving medications, and keeping dogs active and happy. While dogs are my specialty, I also have years of experience caring for cats, fish, hamsters, and even chickens so I’m comfortable with households that have multiple pets. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work online so I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. Along with my two boys (ages 10 and 12) who also share a love for animals, your pets will have lots of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available weekdays and weekends, and can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I live in a pet-friendly home with a big yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends. My boys and I are experienced with dogs of all sizes, and we treat every pet like part of the family. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for whether at my home or yours! I also live near an awesome trail.

I am a graduate student so my schedule is flexible but variable. Please contact me to find out if my schedule works with yours and what your pets needs are! I am happy to stay at your house to care for your pet. If overnight care is not needed I am happy to stop by and take your pup for a walk and provide additional care

“This is the first time I have used DogVacay. I've had my puppy, Zaire, for less then a week when I had to trust in Leslie to stop by and check on him. Leslie came through for my puppy and I in the final hour. I found her the day before I needed her help. We did not have the opportunity to meet in person but we spoke on the phone which helped a LOT. Upon her arrival to my place she made sure to let me know she was there, sent me a picture of Zaire, and even cracked a window for Zaire (at my request). I will definitely use her again. Thanks Leslie.”

About: I've trained my own dogs from the puppy stage and taken care of them in the senior stage. I love all of it. I enjoy going on walks with any of the dogs I take care of while also making sure they are having fun too. I can take care of any needs for your dogs and cats. I have been working on my "people skills" as I have Asperger's Syndrome. I'm comfortable with pets; its people that I sometimes struggle with. If given the chance; you'll see that I will take wonderful care of your beloved pets. I currently work full time Monday - Thursday but I am available Friday - Sunday. I have free time on the weekends to spend with your pets. I live in a calm neighborhood and love taking the dogs on walks around the area. I have no pets at home currently and live alone so your baby will get my undivided attention.
About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

“I had never used a dog walking service before, but I was in a jam and needed help fast. Holly, Josh, and Grace came through and got me scheduled right away! My dog can be a handful with his crazy zoomies, but they handled him like pros. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in good hands, getting the exercise and attention he needs while I’m at work.
