About: Hi, I'm Jenny. I'm so excited to meet & care for your loved ones. Animals have been at the center of my life for more than 20 years. I spent five years working with a humane society, assisting with adoptions, foster programs, and cruelty cases, and I have fostered countless cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies throughout the years. This experience has given me the skills to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Pet sitting is now my primary focus, allowing me to provide dependable care, flexible scheduling, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I dedicate my full attention, allowing me to be flexible and available when you and your pets need me. I can easily accommodate small dogs in my townhouse. I have a large deck to lounge around and plenty of areas to walk your pet & keep them safe. I offer flexible services to fit your pet's needs and your schedule, including drop-in visits, walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I can accommodate cats and kittens in my home if needed; however, most cats are happiest and least stressed when cared for in their own environment. Staying in a familiar space helps them maintain their routine and feel secure while you're away.

About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting for about 5 years, starting with walking neighborhood dogs and growing into house sitting and boarding. I’ve also had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m experienced with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or sticking to their routine, I treat every pet like my own and give them plenty of attention and care! I’m a college student with mostly online coursework, so I have a flexible schedule and am home often. I also care for my two fur babies daily, so pet care is already a big part of my routine! I’m available most days, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: Animal care is a huuuuge passion of mine. I have cared for hundreds of cats & dogs throughout the years. I am experienced, compassionate, and patient; your fur baby getting the utmost loving and safe care is always my priority. No animal is too big/small for me! I have specific experience in cat behavior, dog-walking/training, medication administration, and cleaning procedures. I promise to respect your space, requests, and accommodations. I have pets of my own so I cannot do stays at my location! I have 3 indoor kitties, they all have stainless steel litter boxes/scoops/water fountains and elevated food bowls. Boxes get scooped 2x/day and scheduled meal times are 2x/day as well. They are my world, their health is so important to me! Growing up I always had dogs that were indoor/outdoor and kennel-trained; I am prepared to enforce training upon request, give scheduled walks, and crate your dog if needed! Specific food/medicine accommodations are also no trouble for me.

About: Hi, My name is Chelsea and I have much experience with handling pets. I've grown up with pets and as an adult I care for my pets on a daily basis. I have two dogs who love other animals that I care for daily and a cat that is friendly with dogs. I also have two children that are great with pets and have been around pets their entire lives. I provide all sorts of care for pets, your pet can either come to my house which has a partially fenced in yard and a partially finished basement. Pets will also have free range of the house and are allowed on the furniture and are welcome to sleep where they are comfortable. I can also come to your home to care for your pets if that is something that is more comfortable for the pet owner. I work from home and have a flexible schedule for the most part. About: I have watched a friend’s mature dog in her home while a family member was hospitalized. I have always had rescue animals in my home it is always been a priority for me to love animals and treat them with the respect that is so well-deserved. I have two rescue kitties that I care for every day. I am semi retired, spend special time with my fur babies and exercise every day. I would like to rescue a dog, but if I could spend time and love other people's pets, it would be a very rewarding experience. Since I have two kitties, I prefer to care for pets in the clients homes. My one kitty is 16 years old and I don’t want to subject her to change an environment. Every morning, I am greeted by my kitties, before eating breakfast I give them their morning treats. After exercising in the afternoon, it is dinner time for them so I feed them, they nap and then we bond later in the evening, while one sits near me and the other one sits on my lap. Having cared for several dogs in the past, I take them for walks, engage in playtime and take time to bond. At one point in my lifetime I had three rescue dogs who all got along famously. They were an extension of my family and sadly, eventually passed from old age. I will love your dogs in the same way and treat them with kindness and respect. Their comfort and security are my main concern, along with your peace of mind, knowing that they are safe and secure.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life. I currently help raise 4 dogs. I’m very reliable on feeding, bathing and potty breaks. I’m available all through the week and weekends so just talk to me about the days I can work with you with my care and assistants. I’ll have all the time in the world to play with your fur babies. And Will give them all the love and attention. I provide attentive, compassionate and reliable care for every pet as if they were my own. In the clients home i will make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special care they require. I also keep their environment clean, monitor their behavior for any signs of illness or stress, and communicate with owners by providing updates and photos so they know their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal to ensure every pet feels comfortable, secure, and loved while their owner is away.

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

“This is the first time I have used DogVacay. I've had my puppy, Zaire, for less then a week when I had to trust in Leslie to stop by and check on him. Leslie came through for my puppy and I in the final hour. I found her the day before I needed her help. We did not have the opportunity to meet in person but we spoke on the phone which helped a LOT. Upon her arrival to my place she made sure to let me know she was there, sent me a picture of Zaire, and even cracked a window for Zaire (at my request). I will definitely use her again. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

About: I grew up in a family who had 2 dogs and 2 cats at a minimum at any one time. So having pets was the norm and caring for them was something my parents instilled in us from an early age. So the love of animals is a deep need. When I moved to NC 12 years ago to care for my mom and aunt I decided I needed something for me..that was pet sitting..it brought me joy and peace..over the last few years my client base dwindled due to age of clients and pets and my responsibilities for my mom and aunt made it so I didnt have the opportunity to pet sit.
