About: I have had dogs in my life as long as I can remember. I love all kinds of dogs. I have a small chocolate lab (1 year) and a Lab mix (approx 3 years). My life basically revolves around them. I am now a retired teacher looking for something to do. Since I love dogs and people need help with their dogs I figured I can do that and still love what I do. I am willing to come walk and play with your dog. Board your dog at my house, as long as out dogs get along. I would prefer dogs that are crate trained but if they are not we can discuss. I can come pick up your dog and take it to doggie day care and go pick it up and bring it back. Im pretty flexible. I worked with Hartmans Haven dog rescue as a foster and have had many different types of dogs in my care. I have had senior dogs and dogs recovering from surgery. I am happy to help. I love puppies and Seniors!! I have no experience on Rover.com but I have been taking care of my friends animals for many years. I can be chill and just sit and snuggle or I can take your dog for a walk. I love to throw the ball and play tug -o-war. Just let me know what you need. As of now I am at home most of the time the day. I am currently looking for part time work. I am usually up by 9:00 if I don't have anything to do. My dogs get me up by 7:00 most mornings. My dogs go out when they get up and come back in for breakfast. When weather is good they go outside and play. I often take them to day care to get them socialized. I do have a few side gigs Im working on but for the most part my schedule is flexible. The day usually ends by around 10;00pm I do not have a fenced yard yet. I am working on that. I would be leash walking your pet. My pets are crate trained when I am gone and out when I am home. They have dog beds to lay on but prefer the couch and chair. They sleep in my bed. If your dog is crate trained I have space for that based on their needs. My two dogs are dog friendly but I always want to do a meet and greet first. I am able to follow your in home routine as requested. If I have concerns I will ask you before accepting.

About: I have experience with all kinds of pet care. From cats and dogs to chinchillas and bearded dragons. I am experience with medication and well as behavioral I work PRN at 2 nursing homes and I am in school for 13.5 hours a week! I do make my own schedule for the most part so providing adequate care has never been an issue. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am also fire/flood trained. I have been told I am a perfectionist and I do hyperfocus but since I am watching your pets that is a good thing!

HIRING ME: - I'm happy sleeping on the couch, no need to make up a bed for me unless your pets prefer it. <3 - I will need some strong wi-fi for that remote work life, but that's about it. - Some pets are a bit wary of males, but are typically still comfortable with me even though I'm more male-presenting. - If you want pictures while you're away, I'm happy to blow up your phone with pictures and updates - my phone is full of 'em already and I love it! I work remotely, so pet care is easily something I can work into my routine in nearly any shape that takes for your own pets. About: I have had pets since I was young. I pet sit for family members and friends regularly. My dog is my child and I treat other's pet the same way. I am currently working a full time job. During the week, I am available after 5pm. On Friday- Sun, I am available any time of the day. I make sure the pets have food and water. I like to walk the pets so they don't have built up energy. If boarding in my home I prefer house trained and good with other small dogs. Can work with your pet on house training, crate training, and basic commands. I have never met a cat or dog I did not like and that did not like me in return. I would love to get to know you and your fur prince or princess. I can travel up to 20 miles, after that I need to charge more to compensate for gas. In the midst of training? I can help, I reward with praise and can reinforce your commands. I can not board cats, my old gal will not allow it. I am retired and other than occasional trips can modify my schedule to meet your pets needs. If your dog likes the dog park we are happy to go for a ride there. I have a fenced yard and 2 littles, one loves to play, the other is an observer. There is no way the dogs can get out of the yard.
