About: I have taken care of my household dogs for over 20 years now. I joined the military in 2016 as a dog trainer and instantly fell in love with the profession. When I separated from the military in 2022, I continued to board pets as well as train dogs for private companies as well as for my business. About: I have watched a friend’s mature dog in her home while a family member was hospitalized. I have always had rescue animals in my home it is always been a priority for me to love animals and treat them with the respect that is so well-deserved. After exercising in the afternoon, it is dinner time for them so I feed them, they nap and then we bond later in the evening, while one sits near me and the other one sits on my lap. Having cared for several dogs in the past, I take them for walks, engage in playtime and take time to bond. At one point in my lifetime I had three rescue dogs who all got along famously. They were an extension of my family and sadly, eventually passed from old age. I will love your dogs in the same way and treat them with kindness and respect. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I keep dogs active and engaged with regular walks around my neighborhood and supervised time outside. About: Hi, My name is Chelsea and I have much experience with handling pets. I've grown up with pets and as an adult I care for my pets on a daily basis. I have two dogs who love other animals that I care for daily and a cat that is friendly with dogs. I also have two children that are great with pets and have been around pets their entire lives. I provide all sorts of care for pets, your pet can either come to my house which has a partially fenced in yard and a partially finished basement. Pets will also have free range of the house and are allowed on the furniture and are welcome to sleep where they are comfortable. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.
