Hannah was absolutely fantastic! She was on time every single day, incredibly reliable, and took such great care of our dog Killian. She shared pictures and videos with us throughout her visits, which we loved, and she went above and beyond to make sure his water was full and send us pictures of it. After having a really bad experience with a previous sitter, that extra attention gave us such incredible peace of mind. She also made sure to spend time playing with him each evening, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure he was happy and well taken care of. We truly can’t thank Hannah enough for the wonderful care she gave him. We look forward to having her watch him again and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring sitter!

About: I have owned and cared for just about any domestic animal you can think of, from dogs and cats of every size to lizards, frogs and even cows! I enjoy playing and training or just cuddling and providing reassurance and support for animals who may need a little extra TLC. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats and each day after work we do outside play time, brain games and then some cuddles before bed. I understand that in this day and age there are many people who work late who may not be able to provide that type of care for their animals later in the day and I am looking to help in that area! With any animal it is important to know that they all have their own personalities and some may be outgoing but not all are and that is okay! I would love to spend time working together through training, or just spending quality time with your animal to build a trusting, happy relationship. I want them to be excited for visits and look as forward to them as I would!

About: I've taken care of my own two chihuahua for over 10 years. Always made sure they fed well and treated right. We enjoy time walking around parks and town. I'm part time in college student and employed and I have plenty of time in my hand. What do i enjoy doing in my spare time more than a nice walking during my fav season Fall with the windy breeze on a sunny day. I make sure dogs don't get into fights or start barking at other pets near them by picking them up or going a different direction. I will be taking pictures of the dog to the owner to insure trust and loyalty.

About: My name is Siera, I’m 26, I live in an apartment in Conover with my roommate Savannah. We have a big backyard for playing and there’s a nearby park. I love pet sitting and I need to make a little extra money for tuition and student loans. I am prepared to show your pups a loving and fun time. I can sit for a few types of pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, as well as house sitting with basic household tasks. Willing to help as often as needed. I am willing to accommodate for special needs. I love to go on runs, so dog walking is right up my alley. Caring, loving and fun your fur babies will enjoy time and time again. Contact me if you have any questions. Thank you. I currently work in home with clients from 3:30-6:30 M-F. So I am not available for Pick Up during this time. Ask any additional questions as needed. I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual routine and needs. In my client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal schedule by providing fresh food and water, daily walks, exercise, playtime, medication administration (if needed), litter box or yard cleanup, and plenty of affection and companionship. I also keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets, bringing in mail or packages, watering plants if requested, and ensuring the home remains secure while the owner is away. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with regular feeding, exercise, enrichment activities, and constant supervision. I treat every pet like family, paying close attention to their behavior and well-being to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved throughout their stay. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are receiving reliable, personalized care.

About: Born into a dog-loving family, Breanna has been surrounded by canine companions since childhood. Now, with over a decade of hands-on experience caring for dogs, she has carved out a reputation as a dedicated and attentive pet sitter. Breanna's first Rover booking in November 2023 marked the start of her professional pet-sitting journey, and she has since welcomed repeat clients, including her own mother's dogs. As a proud dog owner herself, Breanna brings a unique understanding and passion to her house-sitting services, ensuring her four-legged charges receive the utmost care and attention. I'm currently helping my sister potty her two dogs once a day at noon mon-fir. So your babies are not being left alone only for a little bit. And they get my undivided attention they need I love working and spending time with your babies. I would make sure to always walk your baby on a Leash if there is no fenced in backyard or make sure gates are locked if you do and to make sure your baby is taken care of when you're away

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hildebran choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Hildebran with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hildebran. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
