“Ashley is amazing. Reliable, responsive, flexible, trustworthy and incredibly kind. She did drop in visits for us for a week while we were away and sent us updates, pictures and videos and made us feel so comfortable knowing our girls were being cared for. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Jasmine did an awesome job taking care of our cat Cruz for a week. She came to our home before we left to meet Cruz and sent photos during the week that we really appreciated. We would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for pets.”

About: My years of pet care experience range from animal rescue to boarding facilities to volunteer work to doc training and to hospital care so I have a wide range of pet care experience. I work in the animal field, and so it is a daily job for me not to mention taking care of my own personal animals My animals are my children, and I would treat others animals the same way. I believe in being respectful of people’s opinions and the ways that they take care of their animals.

“We're thrilled with Alexia's outstanding care for our dog, Fable, over the past three months. She ensured Fable had water and played with her in the backyard. Alexia's genuine love for animals and dedication to Fable's happiness stood out. She communicated well and accommodated special requests. We highly recommend Alexia as a responsible and caring pet sitter. Fable found a true friend in her, and we're grateful for the peace of mind she provided.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8. I absolutely love spending time outdoors and visiting the dog park. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, and have watched several pets besides my own. I currently attend App State as an IO Psychology Graduate Student, so I have a very flexible schedule. I frequently go for runs at local parks after work, and would love to bring your dog with! I have a backyard, but it is unfenced. However I am willing to take pets to any other locations, such as hiking trails or dog parks. I am able to spend time with pets because all of my free time is spent outdoors! Whether it's taking a walk around the neighborhood, running around a state park, or hanging out in the backyard, I enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather. I am not able to take dogs into my apartment, however I have a car for easy transportation to nearby outdoor areas. There are so many great options in Boone, I will definitely find a great place to take your dog!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
