1. Jeff L.
“Jeff did a terrific job of taking care of our pups. He stayed in our cottage, while watching our dogs (no small feat as they are Great Pyrenees - a 1 and a 2 year old) . Not everyone is up to the task of handling these gentle giants, so kudos to Jeff. He communicated with us daily with pics or a video. He also kept an eye out for deliveries to the residence. We will definitely book with Jeff again.”

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
3. Alyson F.
“Alyson was a godsend. We have a very hyper 5 month old boxer puppy who literally flipped out when she arrived and could not settle down. We felt terrible leaving him with Alyson as this was our first time having her to our home. By the time we got to West Jefferson she had sent us texts and videos of how everything was going. Our pup went from absolutely nuts to sleeping with her on the sofa and snoring ? Clearly she is a dog whisperer. We are so blessed to have met her and look forward to more visits!”

About: I love animals and have had pets as far back as I can remember. I currently have 3 dogs, two shih Tzu's and a labor doodle. I enjoy spending free time playing outside with them. I work from home, so i spend countless hours with my pups and play with them on breaks and lunches. My wife also works part time and is able to play with our dogs along with taking them outside in our fenced in back yard. Unfortunately going forward I can no longer take drop offs or pick ups after 1030pm est or before 9am. This is due to my 1 year old son who requires a full night's rest. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For some reason if you cannot make that time frame please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate your situation. I have a fenced in backyard for your dog to roam around and play in. I also have 3 other dogs they could play with.

7. Bethaney G.
“Bethaney is amazing sitter for my babies. She stayed with them the whole weekend and I got pictures and videos regularly. Bethaney made our puppy Daisy not so anxious with us being gone. I will definitely be using Bethaney again. Thank you!”
8. Elizabeth S.
“We hired Elizabeth to petsit our cat who was injured and needed medication. She was able to help last minute and stay in our home with our fur baby to continue his treatment. She gave him all his meds on time and treated our home with respect. To add a constructive note I would suggest that the communication while sitting could improve. Overall Elizabeth is a good sitter and would recommend!”

11. Kaitlyn O.
“I met Kaitlyn in 2019 when she came to work at Club Canine as a Day Camp Attendant. We became co-workers in the little dog camp (she also worked in the big dog camp) and I knew that I could always rely on her. The "campers" were always well cared for and her love for them was always evident. Kaitlyn is a very hard working young woman and has an extensive background in working with animals: day camp attendant, kennel tech, bather, vet tech assistant (as well as private pet sitting). She is my "go-to" sitter and she always stays with my boys, as well as other family members and friends. My boys (lab/rottie mix and beagle mix) absolutely love her. She fulfills our every need and I would highly recommend her !”
12. Jaszmyn L.
“Jaszmyn would be a great person to care for pets. She loves all animals very deeply and treats them very special and loving. She takes extremely good care of our dog Harlow by playing with him, walking him, bathing him, feeding him, and teaching him tricks to keep him from getting bored. She’s a natural with all animals but especially dogs, cats, or ferrets which we’ve had and she took care of. She’s always been this way ever since she was a child. Jaszmyn would be an excellent choice to provide care for any animal.”

16. Heather & Richard R.
“My dog, name coco is a very shy dog when it comes to being around unfamiliar people. I needed a dog sitter for the weekend, so I found Heather and Richard and to my amazement, coco warmed up to them both. Also Coco is now coming out of her shell because of the both of them. Thanks Heather and Richard!!”

18. Destiny W.
“Destiny did a good job watching my 2 doggies. A yorkie and pit bull mix. She offered to have an early meet and greet which helped them recognize her when she came to stay. House was neat and clean when I came home. I did have to reach out for my updates but not a big deal.”
19. Elisia H.
