“Aaron stayed in my home for two weeks looking after my diabetic older cat. While my cat is not on insulin, it was such a comfort for me knowing Aaron was there and he took great care of him! I believe Aaron has a way with animals and befriended my shy kitty after a day or two. I knew I had made the right decision when we returned and my cat was very content. We will definitely have Aaron cat sit for us again! He was very dependable and personable. Thank you so much!!”

About: I love animals and have had pets as far back as I can remember. I currently have 3 dogs, two shih Tzu's and a labor doodle. I enjoy spending free time playing outside with them. I work from home, so i spend countless hours with my pups and play with them on breaks and lunches. My wife also works part time and is able to play with our dogs along with taking them outside in our fenced in back yard. Unfortunately going forward I can no longer take drop offs or pick ups after 1030pm est or before 9am. This is due to my 1 year old son who requires a full night's rest. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For some reason if you cannot make that time frame please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate your situation. I have a fenced in backyard for your dog to roam around and play in. I also have 3 other dogs they could play with.

“Melissa is amazing. She stayed at my house during my full week vacation to watch my two new puppies. I loved that she cared enough to come and meet them before she agreed to the stay. I think that is so helpful for my peace of mind as well as for hers. During the vacation, Melissa sent us pictures of the puppies, that not only showed us they were ok but also showed us their personalities! She went above and beyond when I asked her to also take care of our Bearded Dragon (lizard) which eats crickets. The crickets ran out during the week and she even went to the store to get more. As a house sitter, she was great! The house was just as I left it, she knew how to work everything, and I even had an emergency where I needed something from the garage to be found and set out for my sitter to pick up. That was a feat in itself to find the item by FaceTiming me and going through box after box, all the while giggling and telling jokes! Last but not least, when it was taking us longer than expected to get home, she came back to the house voluntarily and feed and watered the puppies. I can tell she cares and I can’t wait to refer her to everyone I know! Now my only hope is that she’s available next time we have something planned!”

About: I have had animals all my life. I grew up with four dogs, a cat, and a bird! We rescued all of them and gave them a loving home full of attention and all the treats they could ever want. I would also pet sit for friends every so often. Because of this, I have learned a lot about everything that comes with being a pet owner. I now live here in North Carolina with my boyfriend and we have our sweet cat, Pretzel. I currently have a full-time job in West Jefferson. I am available for drop ins anytime during the weekends and late afternoon/nights during the week. I can do drop ins and do whatever I need to do to care for your pet whether that's playing with them, feeding them, or changing the litter. I can also walk dogs as well!

We returned home to the babies happy to see us, and house clean as a whistle, AND talk about going beyond the call of duty; she baked us a delicious loaf of sourdough bread to boot - the house smelled wonderful and the bread is gone less than 24 hours later!!! About: I've grown up with a love of all animals and have had at least one dog or cat in the family for as long as I can remember. My mom managed a boarding and training kennel and took me to work with her every day, where I not only assisted her with the daily tasks, but also learned about caring for animals of all types and sizes. I started pet sitting for family and friends around the age of 10, and also was responsible for taking care of the pets in our home. I take my animals out for regular playtime and bathroom breaks, clean up the yard, and feed and water as needed. We have an older dog so I've also gotten comfortable with administering medication, whether it's chewable, hiding pills in treats, or injecting into the animal itself. I was bit by the pet lover bug at an early age, and it's become a huge passion in my life. My schedule is open and ready to accommodate any of your pet sitting needs. I have reliable transportation so I can either stay overnight to pet sit for you or stop by for a quick check-in or playtime. I will treat your dog or cat like a member of my own fur family.I am comfortable feeding, crating, and administering medicine as needed. “Destiny did a good job watching my 2 doggies. A yorkie and pit bull mix. She offered to have an early meet and greet which helped them recognize her when she came to stay. House was neat and clean when I came home. I did have to reach out for my updates but not a big deal.”
