I was so much more comfortable and at ease knowing they were with someone all the time, rather than being boarded and alone and separated most of the time. About: Throughout middle and high school I was a local dog sitter to several different families in my neighborhood. Now, I spend my time volunteering at the local animal shelter or pet sitting. I currently am in graduate school at Appalachian State. I am only in class Monday and Tuesdays and the rest of the week I work part time at a school. I’m able to come home in between classes to spend time with pets and let them outside. I care for pets like I would my own! I make sure that they have everything they need for their happiness and wellbeing. Dogs and cats get especially anxious when their owners leave, so I understand the importance of giving them extra love and care!
About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

About: Growing up in Michigan, I have had ample experience with caring for pets (not just dogs, but goats, cats and chickens too!). Since earlier childhood, I have had dogs including and most recently had two beautiful and hilarious bulldogs. I can also care for reptiles, amphibians and insects/bugs as I have proper training in labs and rehab centers. I love to play, study mannerisms and behaviors, I like toys that make their brains work so they feel fulfilled and tired after a good session of play. About: Throughout middle and high school I was a local dog sitter to several different families in my neighborhood. Now, I spend my time volunteering at the local animal shelter or pet sitting. About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.
