I always send pictures or snaps when I go to care for your pet(s), so you can see them while you’re away and know they’re getting the love they need. I am experienced in caring for: birds, cats, dogs, fish, farm animals, rodents, turtles, snakes, wildlife, and more! So, if you have any animals I'm willing to care for them. If you have any questions feel free to just message me. And yes, I will get down and play with your pup at their level (unless otherwise necessary) My background: I studied Animal Science at NC State for 2 years and have 6 years of professional experience in pet care and 18 personally. I have worked at a veterinarian clinic as a vet assistant, was a lead volunteer at a wild animal rehabilitation center, handled operations and care for a high school farm, and was a dog handler at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility. I am willing and capable to cater to any specific medical or physical needs for your pets. I love caring for animals and will make sure they receive the love and care they need. I love dogs and animals of all kinds from young and highly energetic to senior and special needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very amenable and can meet any needs from basic to detailed. When on walks or in home with my clients, I always spend lots of time making things fun and making sure their base needs are met (food, water, and environment). For dogs: I get down and play with your dog and provide them with their level socially. So if they’re more reserved I am nice, slow, and not pushy. If they’re very energetic and playful I’ll run around and play with them. For cats: personalities can vary quite a bit. For reserved cats I will not be pushy and I’ll let them warm up and get used to me. For playful cats, I sit down and gently play. And for any that wants attention I make sure they get lots of loving and some treats. All others: I’ll follow your care instructions as they can differ quite a bit. But I always make sure they get attention if needed and I’ll make sure their home is nice and they have plenty of food and clean water. I personally care for my Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, all day while I work from home. She gets cuddles, treats, and outdoor time every couple hours.

We are new to NC and finding a housesitter was a concern as we have a very nervous dog that needs slow introductions and a calm yet confident demeanor in a new friend. He has a best friend now! And my husband and I have peace of mind. Angel is a God Send. She did an amazing job and even handled a difficult situation with our ducks. We can’t recommend her enough. Thank Angel!!
Angel was amazing with our girls 🐶🐶. My old girl has limited vision and requires patience and my little girl can be timid. Angel came and met them before the scheduled appointment and asked about them and what needed to be done. When I came home they were both happy,and well taken care of. I also loved all the pictures she took of them.

Angel is phenomenal! She sends lots of pictures and always gives my girls lots of attention and pets. She is detailed oriented and I always feel comfortable when I have her coming by to check on my girls!

Schedule
I work from home on a flexible (around 9-6) schedule as a recruiter. So I’m able to accommodate any time you need. Ideally, in the mornings before 9, around lunch time, or after 6.
