I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. I have extensive experience caring for animals and have cared for many pets for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in my teenage years. I am able to walk high energy dogs and have the flexibility with my schedule to spend 30 minutes to one-hour visits if needed.

I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.

Layne, was so wonderful with my 3 hyper dogs. She even walked all 3 of them several times while she was sitting for me. I felt my dogs were very well cared for & given lots of love & attention. I would highly recommend Layne for your pet sitting needs
Layne was absolutely amazing! The day we left out of town things changed for us last minute and Layne was a true angel just rolling with the punches of everything. Once we were able to go on with plans, she was everything you truly could ever hope for in a pet sitter! She was attentive, diligent, patient with our two puppies with some of the difficulties they have, incredibly communicative, and always sent pictures. I most certainly will be rebooking with her every single chance I can.
Layne did a great job with our dog Carly! She is a wonderful person and Carly did not miss a beat with her. We would highly recommend and would happily use her again!
Layne is an excellent dog sitter and it is evident that she loves being around any and every dog. She took care of my frenchie for several days, and as anyone with a frenchie knows, they can be a handful. Layne is extremely organized, responsible, and attentive, so she had no trouble adapting to my dog’s routine. She was also great about providing updates and asking questions, if needed. I would highly recommend her!

Schedule
I just started a new job in Boone which means I have more flexibility in the spring/summer, less in the fall/winter. I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time.
