Hello! I am currently a farmer turned student, recently back in college after a few years as an organic vegetable farmer. Now I’m balancing the demands of finishing my degree in evolutionary biology with my love of animals, plants, yoga, and simply being in awe of nature. Petsitting allows me a flexible job while I’m in school and gives me a chance to connect with the community in another way. I love the chance to meet everyone’s furry companions & learn more about people outside of my daily rhythms.

I am an avid cyclist and hiker, so am happy to take along any pet that's down to adventure at the nearby trails. I’ve watched houses with up to 7 dogs at a time, so I’m very comfortable with multiple animals and giving each one the attention they need.

No one knows your pet better than you. So whatever information you would like to provide for me to know their needs while you’re away would be appreciated. Such as the way they take their medication best, places they love to go, how they handle interacting with new animals/people, and any triggering behavior to look out for (for example some dogs are very sensitive to people touching their ears)

I love to spend quality time outdoors and in the spaces your pets already know and love. A typical day petsitting for me usually involves multiple walks, depending on the energy of the dogs, and maybe lounging outdoors with a book while they soak in the sun too.

I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have been pet sitting for the same family for the last 5 years since their jobs and family require them to leave often, but they want to make sure their animals never feel neglected by this. I have administered medication for older cats and dogs, fed and rode horses, learned how to intervene safely in the event of a dog altercation, and love just being around pets of all types and sizes.

From the minute I met Bella, I could tell she was the perfect person to take care of my dogs. She was very sweet and caring towards them as soon as she walk through the door. Bella was great!
Bella is fantastic! She had great communication and took wonderful care of our Cat and Dog crew and of our home while we were away. We will absolutely use her in the future! Thanks again, Bella!
