About: I have over 10 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I have 4 years experience as a veterinary assistant. I also have experience in puppy care and training, as well as senior dog experience. I am fairly flexible when it comes dog walks or playtime. I am available Monday through Sunday 8am-7pm. When it comes to house/pet sitting weekends and Fridays work best. I can work weekdays however I am more limited. I take walks 2-3 times per day, poop scoop the yard twice a day, give enrichment puzzles and toys available for them at all times. Depending on the dogs needs I also have experience giving medication twice daily as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner to picky eaters.

About: My family has a border collie of our own at home and he has always needed tons of care. As a herding dog, he’s always been an energetic and high maintenance guy. I have been looking after his needs since I was 10, along with an host of other small animals (2 hamsters, a fishy, and a trio of pet rats!) and I’d be delighted to show your pets the same level of love and care I show my own. 🐶🐱🐹🐍🦜 I’m also an elementary education major with a minor in inclusive/special ed. I am no stranger to the patience and care that goes into teaching and taking care of little humans, and that extends to animals as well. While I am home for the summer, I would love to look after your furry friends (and they’re free to help me with my school work for summer classes, too)! I am home for a short time this summer, before I move into a house in Bellingham with some of my peers. Because I am taking classes remotely this summer quarter, I will be able to care for your pets whenever I am needed! I am able to do potty breaks, walks, feeding, anything your pet needs. I will do my very best to ensure they have the care they require to make them comfortable.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs. More experience taking care of cats of all ages and walking (small/medium) dogs. I believe animals are equal to humans, fellow beings that we share this planet with. They deserve the same dignity and respect that we expect for ourselves. If that means they need to get out and go for a nice long walk, play time with a feather wand, some nice brushes and cuddles, or even just someone to be there and be present, I'm ready to be your pets new friend! I am currently a stay at home mom whose kiddos are now in full time school. I have always advocated for the care of animals, and now that I have some time on my hands I feel its a good fit to pursue pet care. I currently have 4 kitties. They have special dietary needs and a couple are quite young, which requires daily routine care in regards to food and play. I have fostered a litter of kittens part time in the past that required bottle feedings and help with going to the bathroom. I have also owned two senior cats in the past that were diagnosed with cancer, one needed daily medication for a year. I do not currently own dogs, but I grew up with dogs. My experience with dogs extends to walks and play. I am a fit individual and can take the pull of a leash from a dog or provide a good run if that's what the dog needs.

About: I currently own 3 Golden Retrievers with my significant other. Over the years we have also had a Lab Golden mix and an Australian Shepherd. I volunteer for a nonprofit Retriever rescue and have fostered many dogs through the organization, and for the past 8 yrs I have served as a Medical Intake Manager for the rescue. I absolutely love dogs and treat all dogs like they were my own. Our home sits on 1.25 acres which includes about 1/4 acres of fenced woods with trails, our own private wooded dog park! We also have a medium sized fenced backyard with grass. Our 3 dogs are super dog friendly and love to play. We have a 2 & 6 yrs old spayed female Goldens and a 5 yr old neutered male Golden. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street with lots of private roads for dog walks. I have a very flexible work from home job and am always here to attend to your pups needs. The dog would get lots of attention throughout the day and be able to play and have lots of fun here! We have a fenced medium sized backyard, and our back woods are fenced as well which is accessible by a separate gate. I have XL wire crates on hand and can crate if needed. Super experienced dog owner from my previous fostering experiences.

About: I have taken care of a wide variety of pets my entire life! I am comfortable around animals, including lizards. I treat all pets like family. I work over nights, so I am avaliable all day to care for your pets needs. I will also check I'm before I go into work and when I am off. I have a fenced yard for dogs to run around in, as well as a dog park up the road. I have cat towers and scratches for cats to enjoy.

About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I am have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I’ve spent the last 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. My own dog turns 14 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I’m currently working from home on my own business in the field of digital marketing and have missed being around pets in the office. My availability is based on my own schedule and can be very flexible. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience raising my own golden retriever, who is now seven months old. I’ve personally taught her everything she knows—from basic commands to leash manners and good social skills—and she’s already a very well-behaved dog. This experience has given me a lot of patience and understanding of the consistency puppies need to thrive. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, and always pay close attention to each pet’s unique routines and personalities. About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, geckos and other different types of animals for 5 years. I am dependable experienced and caring. I have a pretty flexible schedule and am available for walks and sittings during the weekdays and weekends. I am available morning, afternoon, and evening. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. They are able to run free in my home though!

About: I have helped raise a wide range of dog breeds growing up. Currently I have 2 French bulldogs, but growing up my family consisted of a Doberman, pitbull, jack russell terrier, and a pug. I currently have an open schedule. Can set up a Monday through Friday consistent routine or open to on call and weekend work as needed. I am available for consistent walks and play time. My Frenchie Rio loves his ball so if your dog has a favorite toy of their own let me know and I will happily fit this into our schedule. I do not mix my home dogs with work as I respect my clients pet time. My frenchies Rio and Ila spend time with my brothers while I work.

About: I was raised on a farm in Texas with several dogs and cats throughout my life. Also chickens, cows, and horses! I’m currently a college student so unfortunately, no pets in dorms. But now I can get my daily furry friend time by caring for your pets! While in school, I work at the Washington State History Museum and help with the field trips for young students. I’m a college student but it’s summer, so no classes! I’ll be around until August 5th, then I’ll be off to Norway to study abroad! I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with parks and hiking trails nearby. There are some dog allergies in my home (hence no pets there) so I would love the opportunity to walk your dog through my neighborhood!

I do not do Rover pet sitting for the money, I do it to help others and because I absolute love all animals and truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, all ages and breeds! I started Rover after we took a vacation and found out firsthand how hard it is to find truly reliable people to pet sit. It was an awful experience and I wanted to change that for others. We need more passionate & responsible people offering pet sitting and I figured I would be part of that change. I want to contribute to our community and also reduce the number of animals which end up in rescues or shelters. Sometimes this happens due to lack of available care.
