About: Although at this moment I am a cat mom, I had a family dog since I was 5 years old I walked, fed and medicated, and I frequently dropped into my neighborhood houses when needed to feed and play with their dogs while on they were away. I have voluntereed at 2 different shlters beofre, taking care of both cats and dogs. Although small, I am strong and can handle medium and large sized dogs with relative ease, even energetic ones. I have the stamina to do longer walks if needed, and will feed, water and, if needed, give medication accurately when left with clear instructions. With my current life, I can't have a dog of my own, so I will live my dog mom dream through your perfect pup. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and the farther ahead you book, the more likely it is I can make your appointment fit. The best times to book are Tueday and Thusday morning, Wednesday afternoon and evening, Saturday night and Sunday morning. Other times are available, but at least a one day notice is needed to ensure availability. I do not have a car, so I am limited to pets within a fairly short radius and need enough notice to find a way there. I don't offer services in my home because my cats don't like other animals, however if you need me to come by and take care of your fur baby, leave a list of written instruction somewhere easily visible and whatever I need like food/medication, etc. somewhere easily accessible and I will handle the rest. If you want me to being any cat toys to play with them, please let me know before the visit.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 8—both my own and others’—and I’ve loved every minute of it. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience through TrustedHousesitters, where I’ve looked after homes and pets (cats and dogs!) across the world. Now I’m excited to offer cat care closer to home through Rover! I’m especially good at bonding with shy or skittish kitties. One of my favorite moments was when a client told me I’d probably never see her cat, who always hid under the bed when strangers came over. After just a few days, that same cat was eating treats right out of my hand! It’s still one of my proudest moments as a sitter. I also have experience caring for senior cats, always being gentle, observant, and responsive to their unique needs. I’m exceptionally responsible, quiet, clean, and a non-smoker. I understand how important it is to keep your home and your cat safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away, whether it’s for a few hours or a few weeks. Whether your cat loves active play or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll tailor my care to match their personality. My TrustedHousesitters profile has reviews from happy pet parents—feel free to ask for the link! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I’m a writer and I work from home, so I’m available at all hours of the day, every day of the week! Whenever your cat needs care, I can be there! I am vigilant about making sure your cat has fresh water, clean litter, their favorite food and plenty of cuddles & play or quiet companionship. And I’ll clean everything up so your home looks exactly the way it did when I arrived (maybe even better!)

About: While I have more hands-on experience living with cats, I grew up a dog person at heart-it's just that my mom never let me have one! Still, every dog I meet seems naturally drawn to me. I'd be happy to schedule a quick meet-and-greet to make sure your pup feels just as comfortable. I am working full time but with a hybrid setting. So I am most available Friday to Monday and after work hours. I can provide a quick drop in visit or accompanying your pets for longer period of time if necessary. I can accompanying your pets for longer period of time if I am allowed to work from your place. I am also flexible in time with advanced notice. I love sending you pictures :)

“Megan stepped in to care for my cat Hildegarde when I was out of town. She was dependable, thoughtful, and provided excellent care. I especially appreciated the daily photos l received from her. I would certainly use her again.”
