I also had the privilege of caring for another dog for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away from cancer, which gave me experience with dogs through all stages of life and taught me how important compassionate care is. About: I’ve grown up with and had dogs for most of my life, and have taken care of cats for the last ten years. I currently have three cats (Ollie, Nell, and Poppy). I took vet assisting classes when I was younger and also have experience working with larger farm animals. I currently work remote full-time from 7:00AM to 3:00PM, but I have the flexibility to bring my laptop with me if extended animal care is needed. I do also go to school part-time in Charlotte, Monday through Thursday. In my home, I have an unfenced backyard I can use for walking and I also have a large dog crate. Because I have cats, I do require that any dog(s) be friendly with cats. If doing an overnight stay at my house, it would also need to be on the weekend (Friday through Sunday) where I would be home all day. In a client’s home, I always follow whatever guidelines are put in place by the owner so the animal(s) can stay in their usual routine with as little disruption as possible.

About: I had my first furry friend when I was 18 against my mom’s will and everyone knows how the story ends right?! Yes she was calling herself grandma after the first week. I’m married now and we have 2 kids, waffles and pancake, yes we love breakfast food. Playing and going for walks aside from giving them love is my skill, they are also here for one lifetime experience so they do deserve to get all the love that they give us. I am currently working full time but I have a lot of flexibility throughout the day, I’m mostly looking to help around the weekends or evening care after 5pm 7 days a week. We live in an apartment, our cat goes on walks once a day and I would be happy to care for your pet in your home as well.

I am unable to block off time periods of the day, so while I may be busy in the morning, I may be free that evening, and vice versa. Please note that I am moving to Winston Salem at the end of July/beginning of August. Therefore, any requests sent before then, I may not be available for. Drop in visits/walks - I work from home M-F 8-5. I typically can do my drop-in visits in the early morning, on my lunch break, and evenings after work. I can be flexible, though if another time is needed. Just let me know! House sitting - House sitting is similar to my drop-in visits. Breakfast/potty in the morning, lunchtime potty break, and then I'll head to your home after work to spend the evening/overnight with your pet. Please note, I do have a dog of my own who would likely come with me in the evenings for overnight. She is crate/potty trained and always looking for a new friend to play with - even cats! (i have two cats of my own that she grew up with). If you would prefer my dog to not come, thats ok too. Please allow the flexibility to go back and forth to ensure she can potty as well. Boarding - As mentioned above, I do work from home. If you'd like your pet to stay at my home, I can ensure they have consistent, around-the-clock care. I do have a two-story home with baby gates throughout and four bedrooms. If you'd like your pet not to interact with mine, that can be arranged. I treat every pet like family—because they are! Whether your pet loves playtime, belly rubs, long walks, or quiet snuggles, I tailor every visit to their unique needs and personality. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and always attentive to your pet’s well-being. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels loved and safe while you’re away. Let’s set up a meet & greet—I’d love to learn more about your pet! I am currently working full time and also a full time student. If you are requesting a house sitting stay, please keep in mind that I will need to either come and go from your home to care for my own dog or have my dog with me during the house sitting stay. She is friendly with other dogs, cats, and is crate/potty trained. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible—whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medications, or making time for their favorite games and walks.
