Safety, trust & environment
Dogs will be supervised 24/7 when outside, even with a fenced in yard, just to be safe. Rain, sunshine, hurricanes or snow, I will be out there with them :) We now have a section of our yard fenced off with artificial turf to prevent muddy/dirty feet from inclement weather. I do meet & greets with all new clients to ensure we are a good fit and that your dog feels safe with me. We will discuss your pet's needs/feeding/sleeping habits at the meet & greet. I do not accept any aggressive/reactive dogs for everyone's safety as well as any unneutered males over the age of 1.

Please let me know if you have any special requests for your pet, or if any medication/supplements will need to be given during their time with me.
A typical day
If your dog likes to be active, we can spend a lot of time playing outside when the weather permits! We typically go outside every 2-3 hours for potty breaks/playtime. When inside we have tons of dog toys to play with, or they can catch up on their naps! I am up early to let the pups out and feed them breakfast. Last potty break before bedtime is typically around 9pm. Dogs rest for one hour minimum after each meal, prior to going outside for play.

Pet care experience
*We are privately insured through Pet Care Insurance. Dog/cat CPR + First Aid Certified through Red Cross* While I am the main caretaker for any pets we care for, my husband, Christian, is a Rover-approved sitter as well on my account, and will be available to help out! All communications will be with myself (Erica) on the Rover app. This is my full time job so I will always be readily available for your pups needs and be able to provide lots of attention and play time during the day! My drop-off/pick-up hours are between 8am - 6:30pm. I send a batch of photos to pet parents every day around 9:30am and again around 5:30pm so you will always hear from me unless you request otherwise. The only thing you would have to provide is your pups food and any treats you wish for them to have while with us. I provide the rest! I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of all different types of animals for many years! From working on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, donkeys, an alpaca and goats, to working in a kennel for a few years, to having my own pets, I have a lot of experience caring for a wide range of animals. I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to seniors as well as dogs with separation anxiety and trust issues. I am a very calm-natured & gentle person and I feel that helps the dogs in my care feel calm and at ease themselves. I hope you consider me for your pet sitting needs, as I truly enjoy what I do and would do everything I can to make your dog feel comfortable.
