About: I have a special place in my heart for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs in the house, so caring for pets has been a part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve helped raise and care for dogs from playful puppies to gentle seniors, learning how to meet their unique needs at every stage. I’ll carry a small pet first aid kit with me on walks and always keep you updated with photos and notes so you know how your pet is doing. About: I have cared for pets for over 30 years. Everything from overnight care, walking, playing, potting, feeding, vet visits and visits while pet was in doggie ICU. My own fur children are 2 and 18. The 18 year old is blind and diabetic and receives insulin daily. Since I moved to an apartment in Bedford for work, my pups are currently living with my son who has a yard they were raised in. This was the hardest decision for me but the best decision for them. I currently work full time 0500-1330 Sun-Thursday. I would be available to care for your pet before work and spend the entire afternoon and evening with them. I am available all day most Fridays and Saturdays. I am able to care your pet in your home in the environment they are most comfortable and secure with. As stated above, since I was required to relocate for work, my pups are with my son with a yard where they have been raised. Before I moved, I cared for my pups their entire life. Buddie is blind and diabetic who receives insulin shots twice daily and requires daily monitoring to ensure his blood sugars are stable. Both dogs insist on their daily evening walks and their diabetic friendly treat afterwards. Yes, they are spoiled rotten. Scout is a very energetic 2 year old who loves to play and run circles around Buddie. Tug of war and squeaky toys are his favorite. Fetch - not so much.

The longest a pet is left alone is 2 hours. We care for pets 7 days a week and include free walks on the trail nearby or trips to the local dog park. I work part time M-F and when I'm at work, my husband, daughter, and/or son are home to care for pets in my place. Being in unfamiliar surroundings for the first time can be stressful to pets, so I take extra time to make sure each pet feels at home.

About: I've loved dogs ever since I was little, and have always grown up around and cared for pets of all shapes and sizes! My dog, Buddy, is an energetic, albeit gentle giant. He is 100 pounds, and as an older dog (10+ yrs), Buddy has a lot of medical issues impacting his daily life. By taking care of my dogs, I have gained many skills and have become detail-oriented in my care of pets. Whether it's administering medicine, dinner time, or we're just hanging out, I will pay attention to your dog's comfort and needs! Also, I'm a naturally energetic person, and I love to play and run around with dogs! I will be attending Trinity University in San Antonio in the fall, but during the summer, I am generally very free most days at almost any time!
