“Katie and Dylan did a great job taking care of our cats for a week. We came home to a pair of well taken care of kitties and no messes or unpleasant surprises (except the stinky garbage which I forgot to take out! Not their fault at all!) We will definitely hire them again if they are willing and available.”

“We are so lucky to have met Maddy! She is fantastic, flexible, reliable and most of all great with Mo!! Took him no time to get comfortable with her and enjoys her visits! Absolutely love how she gives me a report and fun photos after her visit!”

About: Former animal rescuer and vet tech available to sit for your pets. Now retired from FT career, I have all day to care for your pets. You can trust my experience and age to handle your pets responsibly and respectfully. I’ve recently retired from a 20 year career and have all day to care for your pets. I’d love to pour attention into the job, playing with a rambunctious puppy or taking extra time calming an anxious kitty. I worked as a veterinary technician through college, so I have experience administering medications, including by syringe. I have a fenced in backyard. My own cats would be segregated in a separate part of the house so as not to stress your pets or be stressed by them. Cats would not be allowed outside while boarding, as my own cats aren’t, due to too many potential dangers in nature.

About: {Please note I have removed Housesitting from my services through 2025 for a health recovery. Thank you for understanding! ❤️🩹🐶} I have been Petsitting and housesitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

“Haley is THE best!!! She was so great with my babies and patient when my dog was a little uneasy on her first visit! Always on time and responds to texts in a timely manner. She was willing to adjust to a changing schedule as well. I will definitely be requesting her again and always! She deserves more than a 5-star review!!!”

“We’re so grateful to have found Erika! From our very first meet and greet, she was warm, knowledgeable, and instantly connected with both of our labs. Finn (our 10-week-old puppy) and Riley (our 6-year-old). Erika’s background in animal care is clear in how she handles every interaction, and her deep understanding of dog behavior puts us completely at ease. She has now visited our home multiple times and has been incredibly accommodating as my husband and I adjust to our new work schedules. Erika consistently goes the extra mile to ensure both dogs are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does, and our pups love her right back. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Kenzie was absolutely amazing! For every visit, she left the most detailed updates and sent lots of photos. I was worried to leave my cats for the weekend as I’ve never had to hire a sitter before but she absolutely exceeded my expectations and made me feel very comforted knowing my babies were in good hands.”

“Blair did a wonderful job with our two dogs and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, communicative and detailed oriented pet sitter ~ thanks for the great care you provided for our Labradors ❤️”

“Bradley did amazing!! All my critters were well cared for and everything in its place. She sent photos everyday and let us know how things were going. Hopefully Bradley will be available next time we head out of town :)”

About: *Cat, dog, Small animal, farm animal and exotic animal care* Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a New York native, who has made home in WNC. With 9 years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician and 5 years of running my own pet sitting business, I am so excited to continue to build my client base in North Carolina. Pets are more than just animals to me. I have a deep understanding of animals medically, emotionally, behaviorally- as well as understand the safety and responsibility that comes with caring for pets. My main goal is providing a peace of mind for all my clients. I go above and beyond to make sure all instructions are followed and you feel comfortable knowing your pets are in the best hands. Some examples of my medical experience: - Senior pet care - Nail trimming - Medicine Administration - Insulin Injections - SQ Fluids (for chronic kidney patients) I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and becoming your go-to, long-term pet sitter/dog walker! I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker. I also offer additional services, including nail trims, medication administration, etc. If there is something you don't see listed on my profile, just ask me and we can discuss options. Safety is my top priority. Because this is my full-time job, I give each visit my undivided and full attention. Maintaining a calm demeanor while I am in your home creates the best environment for all pets, especially ones with anxiety.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. From dogs to cats to lizards and fish. I absolutely love all animals and always strive to give them the care they need! I’m currently getting ready for college so my schedule is pretty free and flexible. I’m available at almost anytime in any day that you may need! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of land away from the road to keep your animals safe while they still have plenty of room to play!

About: I have had animals in my life since I was born. Currently have a horse, a pony, two goats, three cats, and two dogs living on my property/in my house. I love them all dearly. They are quite literally my children, so I understand the importance of high quality care for your pets. I work full-time from home and usually have lots of free time as my job isn’t incredibly demanding. I usually leave for a few hours in the evening after work to go ride my horse, but other than that I am quite open. I live on 4 1/2 acres. I have a very small fenced in backyard, but I usually walk my dogs 2-3x a day instead of just putting them out there. I do not live on a busy road.

“We deeply appreciated Natalie caring for our two cats while we were away. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only taking care of their physical needs, but taking the time to pet and cuddle Wilma. She was even able to eventually coax Juniper out of hiding. Juniper is our feral cat which we are working on taming. Since this was our first sitter, I was apprehensive about leaving our cats with a stranger, but through the pictures and notes she sent every day, my anxiety was soon eased. Natalie is a wonderful sitter and we definitely want to use her again. She did a GREAT job. Thank You, Libby Miller”

Michelle v.
“Michelle is a true animal lover. When Hurricane Katrina happened, she traveled down to the heart of the disaster to help out and rescued at least one dog which she then kept-- first as a foster and then as a permanent pet. This pup was not an easy fur baby, but Michelle (aka Mika) put her heart and soul into rehabilitating and caring for her. She has also owned other pets that others would possibly put up for adoption: a cat with 3 legs. Care for this baby was not always easy, but Mika adored her. Mika's favorite trip in the world was to see an elephant shelter in Asia, where "Ellies" are saved and rehabilitated. There are few people with more love for animals-- especially the lost and forgotten ones. She is also a responsible and thoughtful caretaker. I can't recommend her highly enough.”
